About Retail/Design Destination Story Alexander Blank Fabrics and Design was founded by its present owner, Stephen Richmond and family in 1985 as a decorative fabric store. Today, we are that and so much more! Our educated and experienced design team, on-site custom workroom, stock fabrics and trims, and extensive design library make us a truly unique design destination. Our entire staff is highly trained and can offer any custom design service you desire. Whatever your interior design and fabric needs may be, we will provide you with excellent service at affordable prices. Our interior design experts offer everything from space planning to custom design services to accentuate any room or space. Our goal is to meet and exceed our clients expectations! Meet Us: Marietta Ries - Senior Designer and allied member of ASID and has been a designer at ABF&D for over 16 years. She earned a degree in business and marketing, as well as a certificate of Interior Design and Architecture from MICA. Judi Bradshaw - Senior Designer for over 13 years. She received her BS degree in Textile and Apparel, as well as a certificate of Interior Design and Architecture and Design from MICA. Kathy Fine -Senior Designer has been with ABF&D for over 5 years. She owned and operated her own interior design company for over 10 years and earned a BS degree in Interior Design from the University of Maryland. Jessica Cunningham - Manager. She has been with ABF&D for over 7 years. She has also earned her BS degree in Interior Design from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
