About Terry Knickerbocker spent over 30 years training and teaching with Willam Esper, one of the most respected protegés of Sanford Meisner. Story Terry is part of a direct lineage of Sandy Meisner and his brilliant approach to actor training. He is also a core faculty member at the Experimental Theatre Wing at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Our four primary aims are: 1. To provide our students with foundational tools and a process for creating authentic, imaginative acting. 2. To empower our students to embrace the full range of their unique humanity 3. To cultivate uncompromising standards of craftsmanship and artistry in our students 4. To support our students with the entrepreneurial skills needed to be a successful working actor.
