About The USO strengthens America's military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country, throughout their service to the nation. Story USO South Carolina operates a center at the Columbia Metropolitan Airport, a center for military applicants at MEPS Fort Jackson, a day room at McCrady Training Center, a United through Reading room at JNGB McEntire, and provides programs and services throughout the state. Columbia Metropolitan Airport center: Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m Monday-Friday; 8:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday This 900 square-foot center includes the following amenities: drinks, snacks, toiletries, computers, complimentary WiFi, TV, and video games. MEPS Fort Jackson center: Hours: 9:00am-6:00pm Monday-Friday Amenities include: XBox gaming stations, TV with DVD/Blu Ray player, board games, snacks and beverages. This center is open to applicants only. USO Day Room at McCrady Training Center Hours vary based on training. Amenities include: USO in a Box, Computers, theater-style seating, ping pong table, pool tables, and a United through Reading room. United through Reading Room at JNGB McEntire Operational upon request.
