About Our cheesecakes, butter cakes and other desserts are hand-crafted from scratch with the freshest, all natural, non-GMO ingredients. Story Portland Style Cheesecake & Desserts proprietor, Kim Haines, began her local specialty bakery in 1989 out of her home. In 1996, after her 5 kids and the bakery grew, the bakery moved to its current location in Southeast Portland. Beginning with only one recipe, the bakery now offers over twenty-five different varieties of cheesecake and an assortment of butter cakes and other desserts. Our cheesecakes, butter cakes and other desserts are hand-crafted from scratch with the freshest, all natural, non-GMO ingredients. They contain no preservatives and no partially hydrogenated oils. You can buy desserts at our Southeast Portland neighborhood dessert shoppe and at 132 west coast regional Fred Meyer stores or at local New Seasons and Zupan’s stores, as well as a variety of other locations.
