We are a research-based practice that offers the most advanced, evidence based treatments. One example is Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). This new FDA approved treatment was developed based on an updated understanding of how brain networks function including knowledge of which networks are not functioning properly when a patient is suffering from various brain conditions. A strong magnet, like those used in MRI machines, is used to restore functioning of nerve cells and circuits. This remarkable outpatient procedure requires no anesthesia – patients can immediately return to work, school or other activities.
