I had Senegalese twist put in my hair as a walk in. They looked great! I had my hair washed to remove gel I was pleasantly surprised for that! Now the girl that dried my hair was rude and talked on the phone the while time. But she kept banging the dryer in my head so I told her to stop and the owner actually finished for me she was great! The other ladies that braided my hair were great they engaged in conversation with me and not just on the phone our showing their language amongst themselves. The owner did a pretty good job hiring people with good customer service- except the girl with the attitude.
TERRIBLE customer service. No couth. They hardly let you finish a thought. I called today to ask about seeing the hair and was basically told I’m not new so why am I acting like I need to see the hair first. I couldn’t even express why I have extremely sensitive skin and was going for a new style. I was told not to come if I’m going to give a hard time. The attitude from employee to manager is POOR. They constantly speak French to each other the entire time hair is being done. They switch braiders and eat as they please. The customer comes last here. I’ve been here on and off for years as I don’t go to the salon much anyway but my patronage has been out of convenience not loyalty. This place sucks and I can’t stress that enough. To be talked to that way while trying to plan some self-care after a long day was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I have endured the hygiene I’ve read about in other reviews. I’ve tolerated the exclusion while sitting for 6+ hours. I’ve accepted the unprofessionalism out of convenience but I am done! Ew.
I am so pleased with the services at Edo Professional Braiding. My appointments are timely and customer services is always excellent. For the last year I have has great success with the spring twist and my style lasts for an extended length of time. The salon is neat and clean and I appreciate the environment. Edo works to ensure I am pleased with the "final product" and will do what is takes to provide me with the style I am seeking. I am loyal to this company because of their loyalty to professional service.
I had such an excellent experience with Edo and her beautiful daughter. The very first initial text and phone call was awesome. She contacted me with immediately responses. Edo walked me through the process of Passion Twists; where to purchase the hair for Passion Twists, the length and we discussed the cost of braids when we meet in person. She gave me exactly what I had envisioned. I very happy for this carefree braiding technique. Edo spirit and personality is genuine. She’s such an amazing person. Her laugh is infectious and smile is radiant. Please stop by to have a consultation. You will be forever grateful for her services.
Got my hair done and I hate it. Was told two different prices and if I didn't have a party to go to I would've left. The lady was nice but didn't listen when I asked to keep baby hairs out. I also showed a picture of the braids I wanted, but my hair looks nooooothing like the picture. I shouldn't have paid but I thought maybe it would grow on me in a few hours. I still hate it! I also emailed the store to inquire about a refund or someone fixing it. No response, I wouldn't recommend going there.
I love Edo shop! She was very personable and sweet. Her sister was nice as well. Edo did a great job braiding my hair. She did my hair twice and did a great job both times. Fellas and ladies if you need your hair braided she is your gurl!! Thank you again. I love my bday style.
I have known Edo for 6 years and she has been consistent, reliable and dependable. I trust her to always give her best and she is loyal to her clients. I have watched her progress as a business professional who has worked her way up from a booth in a local shop, to her own space and now her own shop. She is building her brand with integrity, incredible work ethic, and honesty. She is the awesome at what she does!
I texted Edo to see if she could do a particular hairstyle I was interested in, she RUDELY texted me back saying "I can't do that" with the thumbs up emoji. Now usually if you have a particular style your interested in they will attempt to try and do it or say hey I have someone else here that can do that for you. Customer Service here has always been trash. Attitude is very poor and not a good look when running a business. I wouldn't recommend this shop if it was the last braiding shop in Charlotte.
