Effex Nightclub

I had a really fun time . I was blown away with all the different rooms and music options. My Red Bull was cheap compared to other bars. The only bummer is I thought it was a gay club And It seemed there were only about 3 of us gays there.

It was my third time here. Decided to celebrate New years Eve at this place. When I went to use the restroom near the lounge the security personnel asked me to pay $50 if not then the guest with me is intoxicated and needs to be removed from the bar. This was the worse NYE experience. I never expected Effex to fall down at such a degrading position it was one of the most respected bars to the least now. The girl with me when we were peacefully getting out was gropped by the same security personnel and she felt assaulted when complaint about the same to a female security personnel a simple FU*K was said. Best New Year's Eve ruined by Effex. Heartily Disappointed with this place was my favorite. NO MORE !.

This club sucks now. It use to b the go to place to dance and have a good time. Now it's a bunch of wack music. DJs don't know what they're doing. Too much remixing, can't even get a good dance flow. Not everyone likes rave music all the time. Not a place to go if u want to have a good time. Do better!

The sound is terrible. A premier club experience is desperately needed in Albuquerque. Which would entail a high end sound system. If Effex is gonna get talented DJs here from across the pond or the country ownership should provide a proper auditory experience both for the artist and listener. Gigantic floor speakers aren’t gonna cut it. Hire some professionals to set it up in the properly.

Me and my girlfriend were aggressively thrown out. The reasoning they gave was “take her home”. Not really sure why. Or what that means. But only had one drink so I know I wasn’t because of being to intoxicated. Never spoke to anyone so we know it wasn’t because of causing problems. Used to be regular’s but will never be back. Will also be telling everyone we know to not go back as well. Very unaccepting and disrespectful security guards.

They kicked me out because I was at the entrance waiting for a friend. I told them that, but they didn't really seem to care. This was after I made a 15$ entrance fee non refundable as they told me after the fact . Would not try again. Seems like it would be fun if they didn't treat the customers like trash

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING AND FUN!!! I started off the night with my husband and friend and Social Club Big Mistake!!! Luckily THIS PLACE TURNED OUR NIGHT AROUND FOR THE BETTER!!! It has so many dance floors!!! I especially loved the rooftop!!!! ITS SO SICKENING!!! Like you get to drink and dance and see and feel the Night sky!! Last night Thursday they had a nightmare after Christmas event on the first floor but everywhere else they had KILLER EDM!!! I visit family in Albuquerque every year and this is now the go to destination for me and my friends!! ILL BE SURE TO LET EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT HOW FUN THIS PLACE IS!!

This was my first time here and I had a blast! They have two levels and 4 different music rooms 1 being an outdoor stage which is were a DJ was celebrating her birthday and it was Lit!! Afterwards I spoke with her and got her info to check out more music! This is an awesome place to come hang out, party and dance!!!

Bartender took 30 minutes to get to use after taking all of his friends orders. People that were in line after us and the Bartender had us kicked out for being annoyed. He then lied to the security and got us kicked out. He was very arrogant and rude.
