As we know that sandwiches are very healthy and full of vegetables, proteins and energy. But , now days some shops make very spicy and high oiled , baked sandwiches. But this shop, here the makers make that type of sandwiches whom look like a very tasty sandwich but those are full of vegetables and healthy..
Excellent old school greasy spoon. If you ever wanted to go to a diner with bar stool seating, this is the place to be. I ordered a chocolate egg cream and the Reuben sandwich. Both were great and service is fast. Place is wheelchair friendly.
Definition of "greasy spoon"! A coffee shop with aging decor, lots of nostalgia and tongue-in-cheek charm. Great staff, food just as greasy and yummy as they promise with their slogan: "Raising New Yorkers' cholesterol levels since 1929." Classic, perfect to take out of town friends.
If you've never been, stop what you're doing and go eat here. If you have been, stop what you're doing and go eat here. One of the best and last true delicatessens in NYC. Treat yourself to a Reuben and an egg cream. Then go back and get a grilled cheese easily the best one the east coast.
Definitely a hole in the wall kind of place. No one is very friendly and it is a bit dirty inside and behind the counter but the food wasn’t bad. Bagels were good but nothing amazing.
What a great find! Yummy cozy little sandwich shop. Sit at the bar, you'll get quick great service. Wide selection of deli sandwiches.
A true NYC experience worth the visit. It’s certainly not fancy but it reminds you of increasing sparse places in the city that serve corned beef. The matzo soup is also notable. Sparklingly clean and updated this place is not. But it hits the spot. I can not vouch for the arteries.
OMG where do I start! First time in N.Y. I order a combination of pastrami and brisket sandwich and was really amazing and perfect. They're quick in getting your order. You can watch it making it in front of you. And they're also vegetarian friendly
I loooooove this old school sandwich shop, there are not so many left in the city. Prices are reasonable and cheap and the food is good.
