So honestly I would rather the overall experience as a 4.5, but mostly because I didn't get a refill on my $2.50 sweet tea the travesty!, but they deserve the rounding up for friendly service and bomb-diggity-delicious food. My husband got the Plato Loco with chicken and was sufficiently filled when he finished it, so the portion to price ratio is definitely good. I was very pleased with my chicken fajita taco salad. The chicken is very, very tasty, none of the vegetables were over used like some places you'll see maybe 3 bits of meat carefully hiding 3lbs of lettuce or something and the taco bowl was crispy all the way through, even at the bottom when I had mostly finished. Pleasant surprise to find find a soggy bottom. Definitely give the chicken tacos a try, they pack them full of meat and they're quite tasty. Parking: There is extra parking next door if you've got a trailer. Very handy.
Large menu selection with photos. Great decor inside. We almost ate too much chips and salsa because so tasty. Very good friendly service.Food: 5/5
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. It has a more authentic vibe to it. Seems to have upgraded interior dining furniture. None of the above is as important as knowing the owner works just as hard and is just as friendly as the staff. The food is always fresh and the salsa bar/ condiment station Pico, limes, etc. I highly recommend it. Do not leave this out of your top 5 Mexican restaurants in Calhoun County. Kid-friendliness: They have a good menu for children and bring Styrofoam cups for children without question.
the beef burrito was the best! And very good costumer service! I recommend this restaurant!
Some of the best Mexican food in Calhoun County. They have an awesome salsa/condiment bar with items for everyone's taste ranging from mild and meek to mouth numbingly hot. The staff is very friendly and attentive to thier customers needs.
This local hole-in-the-wall gem serves authentic Mexican food packed with flavor! Whether you're craving nachos, burritos, enchiladas, or a crispy chimichanga, this is the place to go.! While waiting on your meal, make sure you try one of their varieties of aguas frescas real fruit flavored water. Tamarindo is my favorite, especially on a hot summer day in the south! For added flavor to your tacos, make sure you check out their perfectly sized salsa bar where you'll find a wide variety of sauces ranging from super mild to HOT. Carlos and and his wife, along with his brothers Beto, Adrian, and staff are very delightful, providing the best service and experience of any Mexican restaurant I've visited.
The food was great and the beer was expensive but super cold. The waiter was exceptional.
El Agave Grill & Bar is a nice atmosphere for dining, snacking or parties. You are always met with a smiling face, hot chips & salsa. The menu has many items to choose from, you will not walk away hungry. They just added soup & chicken wings, you have to try the tortilla soup. It’s delicious ! Tell Carlos, Benny & Gerry sent you
Love the food and the friendly staff! I'm impressed by the quality and abundance of meat they put into their many dishes, and the cheese dip has a rich flavor, unlike some bland dips. They're quite a gem for little Eastaboga Alabama haha. They're located in a strip, with Bills Bottles and Suds at the opposite end...btw, a great convenience/liquor store with super friendly staff! Love them both.
Always have the freshest dishes daily. The fajita are excellent. The place is always clean and service is on point. Kid-friendliness: Nice menu for kids.Highchairs and boosters also
