I’ve come here several times, especially when they have a local mariachi playing. They have great outdoor seating no matter the season with heaters for the winter and fans and umbrellas for the summer The food is always AWESOME and it’s very authentic. Their elote and chicken mole are my go to order. The staff is also super nice and accommodating like Olivia—she’s super great!. Their drinks are delicious and not over priced for the amount you get. I appreciate that they add gratuity to your bill because they’re trying to take care of their workers, especially during a time with low wages and high unemployment. This place is worth visiting!!

It was such a beautiful day. We used to visit this spot alot when it was El Azteca. The food was okay. They could offer more combos considering they are pricey. Also they automatically add gratuity for no matter the amount of people eating. That gives me pause. The service was pretty good. My favorite thing: the super colorful table clothes.

I LOOOVEE this restaurant!!! It is one of my favorite places to dine! I have been dining at this restaurant for years and I’m always pleased by the food and service I get from Olivia and Roberto!!! They always make sure my food and drinks are perfect!!! This is my treat I look forward to at least once a week! I will continue to go there for as long as they are open! All new to Atlanta or if you are a native you have to go there and try them out ! You will not be disappointed! I love the chicken soup, chicken nachos, quesadillas, Texas margaritas, guacamole dip, and salsa and chips! Best authentic Mexican in Georgia!

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Atlanta with a fantastic patio, incredible spicy margs and out-of-this-world elote. I appreciate the amount of vegetarian options on the menu that do not compromise on flavor. Ignore all the complaints about the gratuity — people just aren’t used to tipping their servers who are great a livable wage. I love when they bring in a mariachi band too — it makes for a great night out!

I have recently tried El Ponce for the first time at a pop up event. The food is so good! The happy hour menu is filling and cheap! The margaritas are so good! Great service, the atmosphere is so cute and they have a large outdoor patio. Chips and queso were good. Large portions with typical Mexican dishes. We will be back! I liked the enchiladas but didn’t get to try my tamale before this review.

Had the best fajitas in the area at El Ponce tonight! They have amazing spicy margaritas, great atmosphere, and amazing service. Olivia was the best waitress. Love this place!

The food was awesome and I highly recommend coming here. You can even get some sombreros I believe.

I LOVE this place. Best spicy margarita in all of ATL- hands down. Great service. Great patio. 10/10. Try the chimichangas when you come, you won't be disappointed.

Just had the most amazing experience at El Ponce. Olivia was our server and so gracious, lovely and hospitable. The food is fabulous! Many ingredients are organic and sourced from local farmers. The cocktail menu is top notch. If I could give El Ponce ten stars I would! Will be back soon.
