El Despertar

Food is so good. I always order during holidays since I’m mot much of a cooker. They’re always super busy so you might be on hold for a little while but that’s just b/c they have alot of orders.

People calls the place "El Cuchifrito" but the name is El Despertar.. A bit hard to find it. Service is good..plenty of choices to eat Caribbean food I tried roasted chicken and mondongo.. Worth the try..

The food is salty and the morir soñando is not fresh.

Beware, check your receipt. They charged me extra. Came back the next day to ask for a refund for the extra money they charged and by no means they gave me the money back. They just kept saying that it was someone new that made the mistake. They didn’t even offer a way to make it up. Plus the food wasn’t even great! Very disappointed.

From the first moment you step in this restaurant the waiters give you a pleasant feeling. Very hospitable team, it is a kind place to to go out with friends or with your date. very good meals, experienced chef, reasonable cost and generous service. Warmly recommended.

Worst place to eat from , would not recommend at all they sell food that is bad , I’m Experiencing a bad stomach virus from the food they served me never again

The Rotisserie chicken is so good
