El Gordo Taqueria

The pic with Al Pastor on a spit drew me in. I get there and there is no layered pork on the spit anywho, 4 al pastor taco for $8 green, red sauce & lime the pork had NO SAŹON look it up meat was kinda dry the sauces very spicy. Hubby and I gave this place 4 stars they are cheap tacos for when your hangry.

Had the barbacoa torta, and it was great, salsas are tasty and delicious, a little on the hot side. Small portions for what I like, but they make up in quality. I will be returning.Food: 5/5

This place use to be amazing. Unfortunately has and is going down hill. All these new employees have horrible attitudes like the owners son and daughter. If you ask for pineapple on your al pastor tacos do yourself a favor and check them before you leave.Food: 3/5

First off!!! GREAT PEOPLE!! Rare to find on 72nd n Pecos these days. Great street tacos! The red sauce is fire . Definitely check these guys out. If you eat at taco bell you a fool.

My Girlfriend order the Torta de asada and ask to add cheese on it and instead she got this... Don't EAT HERE! The orchata drink look like dirty water what a disappointed.

It was ok, it would’ve been great without any expectations against it. For context, there’s a very famous and sought out “Tacos el Gordo” that we will travel all the way to Las Vegas just for their Al pastor. We got so excited when we saw this name but once our tacos came out we realized these weren’t those - the Al pastor tasted more like chicharron but overall it was ok

Best burritos I’ve had in my life and great prices. If I could eat here every day of the week I would. 10/10 would recommend

My usual Barbacoa hook-up was not selling Barbacoa. So I had to go find a new place! My sister-in-law recommended Tacos El Gordo, and was fully satisfied :

Amazing food, I've had everything on the menu and can't complain about anything. I'd eat there every day if I could. Kid-friendliness: The lady that runs it is very nice Parking: There is plenty of parking available. And there are always people stopping to get something.
