El Gran Pollo

Great tasting Peruvian chicken, marinated well, cooked just right, cut to size according to instructions. Fried rice chaufa is also surprisingly good, so is the plantain and the creamy spinach. No issues during ordering. Planning to be back soon to try other items on the menu. The spanish music played on the background also added a nice ambiance. Don’t understand the words but who cares. Plenty of tables, nice location, plenty of parking.

I'm so glad I got the special today which was a taco salad! 12/10 easy! The steak is tender, the sour cream is delicious and the tortilla bowl it comes in is so flavorful all on it's own!

Taco’s were delicious.. very fresh… however the price for 3 tacos and 13 dollars...and your not allowed to mismatch.. and I wasn’t allowed no extra salsa.. I feel like 13 dollars is to much cause there’s a taco truck across the street behind the shopping center on loch ravens.. i get 5 for 13 dollars.. extra salsa .. and a grilled Jalapeño… probably won’t be eating at this restaurant again ..no one wants to feel like there getting ripped off

I was so excited to see that this place has 2 of my favorite foods, that I can never find sold in the same restaurant!!! I got the Carne Asada tacos and white rice and they were delicious!! I do personally like a little more raw onion on my tacos than what they do unlike a lot of other restaurants though, they have fried onion in them and the rice, although it was really really good, it had a little less flavor than what I’m used to. I didn’t dine in but the place was clean and quaint and the staff were pleasant and worked with haste it was lunch time so they were really busy None the less this place is great and I will absolutely be eating there again!

Super disappointing. While looks may be deceiving, this picture of my meal was actually untouched. This is what I was served. For $18. Yup. Because there was such a scant amount of chicken, the amount of rice given is ridiculous. I wanted to give this place a chance since I was in the shopping center to pick up my dry cleaning at ZIPS. Great experience at the dry cleaners, very pleasant and efficient. Felt brushed off and ripped off at El Gran Pollo. 2 stars were given because I recognize that the food was reasonably fresh. However, they also tried to charge me for 2 drinks when I only wanted one as well. If you don’t mind overpaying for a 70% white rice dish, then this place is for you. Honestly I can get a better meal for about half the cost and a 3x bigger portion at other take-out restaurants. Will return to ZIPS and skip El Gran Pollo.

I got food poisoning after eating the Cajun chicken breast. It by far has been the worst night and morning after eating from this place. Would not recommend.

They have the best Peruvian chicken in Baltimore. Their sides are delicious and their portions are generous. I also love their steak fajitas-- the steak is always juicy and well-seasoned. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Chicken is fresh, staff is friendly and quick with the service. The passion fruit juice is super refreshing. Dinning room is clean. It's a great place to grab lunch.

I was very impressed with my order of 1/4 dark chicken, rice & black beans… I will be coming back
