El Pavo Real

Hands down the best quality Mexican in the city. From the fried plantains to the enchiladas I loved the food. Also the house made tortilla chips are hands down the best chips you can get in city. If I could give this place 6 stars I would.

They didn't have nachos on the menu. I asked for them and they made it, I guess it was because I came in at 330pm and they were not busy. I chose chicken Tinga. AMAZING! The popcorn is great and it is free.. oh and service was excellent.

Tasty food, delightful staff, and lovely atmosphere. Great safety practices. Oh, and BEST chips in the city.

One of the best restaurants I have had the pleasure of dining in. A gem! Lots of outdoor seating, and super beautiful fresh food. Enchiladas, lime cilantro rice, tacos, chips, potatoes and poblanos. Nice!

Excellent food and friendly staff. The carnitas was a unique, but delicious variation.

I've been to El Pavo Real twice now, and everything I have tasted has been very good. My favorites are the crab and avocado quesadilla, ceviche, and the platanos. If you like your food spicy, be sure to ask for some of their habanero salsa.

10/10. Best Mexican food in the city. Unlike a lot of "boutique" mexican restaurants in this city, they make their tortillas in-house. Homey dining room that felt like my grandmas house. This is as authentic as it can get here. Will be returning. Food is priced great for the quality and the taste.
