El Peñol

This place is amazing! Its nicely done inside, not cramped unless you have the window seat. I wasn't expecting for it to be so nice inside! Just be prepared, the menu isn't in English so bring your phone to translate and do your research ahead of time. The food is authentic Columbian and wonderful not to mention very reasonably priced and they have big portions. I have to say this is one of my new favorite places! Its off street parking and the area is pretty busy so give yourself plenty of extra time to parallel park.

Good food at a great price. The waiter heard me telling my friend that I don't eat pork and very kindly informed me that a part of my meal had pork in it and offered alternatives to that part of the meal. Very appreciated.

Excellent food and service. The only downside would be the relative scarcity of on street parking in East Boston. The food was great and dinner for two will easily run you less than $30. I recommend this restaurant for those who are willing to try new things and are a bit more adventurous in taste

Seriously so freaking good! The plates are huge and you can really taste the love that was put into the food. You'll definitely wanna have time for a nap right after!
