El Pollo Inka

The cilantro rice is expensive - an additional 2 dollars. The portion of meat is cheap. I got one dish with 1 piece of white meat and it was a sad portion. Place is dead, not sure why they would be so stingy. They serve bread, which didn’t seem like its made fresh. Happy hour is only their appetizers and they dumb down the size for $3 off.

Went here with my family to order pollo a la brasa for to go, which was a whole chicken with fries. The chicken was red not cooked well done. The portion of salad was a lot more then the portion of fries, because the portion of fries was a little box the size of my hand even though the fries had to accomdate a complete family order. However the manager refused to give me another box of fries and wanted to charge me for another one. When I said that this is not how it’s served in most Peruvian restaurants, the manager who’s a bearded Arab had told me, “well this is how we serve the pollo a la brasa here”. It was shocking to me because I’m Peruvian and never thought how people can f+++ up a dish. Peruvian food is served in abundance not as an apppetizer. I’d recommend going to the pollo Inca in Hawthorne. The manager there is a Peruvian not a cheap Arab bringing his mentality to a Peruvian restaurant.

I've been coming to El Pollo Inka Hermosa for over 10 years and I only have positive things to say. The menu is teeming with flavorful Peruvian dishes that will not let you down. My favorite is the Lomo Saltado! If you're looking for a healthy meal with immpecable service to match, this is your spot !
