El Rey Family Market

The cleanest and most organized store anywhere. They have such a great selection of vegetables, dry goods, meats, and deli. They have everything you can imagine needing a fat as grocery. Good prices and very nice staff.

Love their selection of fresh cut meats their butcher can pretty much cut what you need their bakery is awesome you have to get there really really early in the morning to get the fresh churros which are still warm when you get them they are absolutely deliciousFood: 5/5

Tacos and chilli relleno were good not great. Ok place to eat fast food Mexican before grocery shopping. Bought chicken fajitas meat and seasoned pork which were good and reasonable. Their tortillas are very goodFood: 4/5

I wish I had the time to spend more time there however I was on a mission for churros and El Rey did not disappoint. In fact there were better than the churros I had south of Phoenix last time we were in Arizona. Unfortunately when I arrive they were out of the plane flavor however a young lady came over to check on me and asked what I was looking for. Within 3 to 4 minutes she came back with a bag of 12 plain churros which is exactly what I was looking for... Coincidentally my mouth was watering as I was passing the hot food deli... I am coming back to El Rey, very soon!!!!

They have a good selection of take home cold stuff you can take it home and heat it up and yes you can use your food card for it because it's cold

Update: After waiting in line to check out for quite a few minutes 4th out of 5, I get to the front of the line and the check out person turns her light off and says "I'm closed" and walks away. Now again at then end of another line spend a total of more than ten minutes waiting to check out. I mention that the lane tight next to him shut down on me making me wait an extra six minutes.This check out person only tells me my order total, and after payment "have a great day." Original: A great little local grocery store in the neighborhood, convenient with a range of merchandise, fresh produce and meats, a small bakery area, including fresh doughnuts. A smaller selection due to store size restrictions but quite a wide variety of Mexican products. The El Rey app allows you to receive coupons and specials.

I think I went when they were close to closing, so all the bakery and stuff was shut down, but that's what I went for lol, but staff was super nice, and easy to communicate with. Let me reiterate, I understand it's a Spanish market, but it was very nice that people there spoke a little bit of English to help me since I speak 0 Spanish will always go back there. They have amazing food, and pretty good prices as well.
