This place is really great. For starters they give complimentary tortilla chips and salsa which they refill once over. Ordered special dinner, shrimp taco and fresh guacamole. The shrimp taco was really good and fresh. For the guac, they made it in front of us on the cart, they put three fresh Avocados with lime, cilantro and other asked for ingredients and served it in the earthen bowl. That was one of the best gauc I have had so far. The dinner plate was average in taste, the quantity is more than enough for two people.
If you’re in Portland, Maine and looking for Mexican food or street tacos, El Rodeo is your best bet. Loved their birria tacos and the seafood platter. They have happy hour drink menu with a variety of margarita options. Not a long wait time and decent service.
The restaurant atmosphere was wonderful. The drinks were good and the food was hot. The waiter had so many clients so we had to wait a little longer to get his attention but overall we had a good experience.Dine in: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
My first time eating here was in Brunswick when they first opened and most of my food tasted like soap/dish liquid. So I never ate there again until recently and I absolutely love it! Food was amazing, The portions are large, And your food comes out really fast!
Currently sitting at the bar enjoying probably the best bean dip I've had in a very long time. Service is good. Blue raspberry margarita with 1800 is good. Highly recommend giving them a try! You can't beat great food and drinks with a friendly smile!
We had a great experience. We went for a birthday. We were seated right away. It seems to have ample seating. The menu had a lot of options, even gluten free tortillas. I noticed there were a lot of people coming in for take out orders as well. When the food came it was big portions and the food was delicious. We will definitely be coming back when we are in the area again. Parking: It had ample parking. Wheelchair accessibility: It had the usual ADA requirements.
Still looking for the silverware I requested. Also looking for the guacamole in the guacamole salad. Nachos supreme was digging through another salad to mostly find plain chips. Disappointed
3 stars because the food is good. Minus 2 stars because $64 got my a few tin foil takeout dishes half full. Maybe eating in is different but the amount of good doesn’t match up with the price. They also forgot several items in our takeout order and when I called I was told they could re-make those items if I came in but did not offer to make it right and deliver them. We just had a subpar experience. We probably won’t go back, so many other good options in portland.
Very happy with the service and the food was amazing. Eating out with a shellfish allergy is hard and I am very impressed. I ordered a dish not realizing that they fry everything in the same oil. Our server was very informed and swapped out the fried stuff with a couple tacos.
Food was good. Service was very good. Price was about right for the quality and the area.Food: 4/5
