El Tinajon Cuban Food

The best Cuban food in Las Vegas. The best tamales ever!!!!!! My only suggestion is that they change the hours because the place closes way to early, especially on Sunday.

I have purchased tamales from Luis from the very start many many years ago. He has improved the quality tremendously. Now his tamales do have pork in it, good flavor, I was very pleased with my last purchase at El Tinajon. Hours on Sunday u got to change it, u r losing money. You have to have tamales offer on Sunday. 3 PM is not right.

Where to start. Walked in and found a quaint small place. Very few tables to sit at. The menu board was not great, kinda scared me away a bit. But said I'm here so let's give it a try. That said, the young lady at the register was very nice and inviting. I was very pleasantly surprised at the prices. In Miami I'm use to my meal being Rice and beans, meat and plantains or yuca. Most places in town it's just Rice and beans and meat the plantains or yuca are extra. Well this place was like Miami and that makes me happy. I had the Ropa Vieja with Rice & Beans and Yuca. A t amal, and 4 ham croquets total was 15. Unlike a recent visit to another place in town with smaller petitions and was 24 for same thing minus the croquets... Yet I was criticized for the review about that place cause I thought was expensive and bad portions. Oh well I can tell you I will be going back for sure... Check it out see what you think, I'm sure you will like it.

This place is a hidden gem in Las Vegas. The food here is homestyle cooking "COMIDA CASERA". You will feel at home here.

Do yourself a favor and stop by this mom and pop restaurant! The Cuban sandwich was amazing and the juice brought back memories! You know your meal is about to be bangin when the drink comes in a styrofoam cup!!

I highly recommend the food here its authentic cuban food very delicious. If you need to cook a whole, half, or leg of pork they will. They also have specials on food for parties or special occasions.

Deeeelicious!! The sandwich cubano was perfectly toasted and definitely hit the spot… was my first time and will certainly be back!
