I like to start out with the positives of this Mexican restaurant especially since obviously it received a two-star rating. Friday we chose this restaurant based on well mostly good reviews. First off, waitress, maybe part of ownership, not sure, was sweet and personable even as busy as the restaurant was that Friday evening. My daughter and I ordered the sea food grill for one since we knew it would be more than enough. And it was, too much for us. It was a hot grill full of oysters, crab, fish, and some small we have no idea-seafood, like balls. And also some kind of cheese and a couple of hot grilled peppers. We ate our full. But since the fire stays on the longer the food is on the plate, the dryer they get. Patrons were friendly and talking and having a good time. Pretty much all was okay until I went to pick up a tooth pick and then decided to pay. Well, standing there, a roach took its time crawling on the wall behind the cashier who was also the waitress. Well, that took their rating down a few notches. I hope this issue gets taken care of! I know by health regulations you’re allowed a percentage of bugs, but goodness, I don’t care! I don’t want to greet them on my way out, for sure; or in, but at least I can make a choice to walk back out on the way in. Too late, after the meal!

High expectations for this place since is near my house. Unfortunately the only good thing about this place is the service. Please if you are brave enough to come here don’t order barbacoa. Not just tasteless but also fatty.

This place had great food and a great price with friendly service and authentic Mexican food. I recommend trying the case so it’s a little bit different but really really good. Chips and salsa that come out before the meal also good. Portions are huge so if you’re not a big eater plan to have leftovers.

Staying at the HomeTown for atleast a month or more. Had to try this Mexican restaurant and was very much pleased with the service and food. This restaurant is a hidden treasure! I live dtown Denver and will be making an asserted effort to visit this establishment whenever my palate calls for Mexican cuisine.

Good food and drinks. We really appreciated the outdoor seating where our puppy could sit and eat with us.

My tacos were great and the kids meal was bigger than I imagined it would be. Margaritas are okay, a little pricey for the size and quality esp since they serve it in a plastic cup. Menu had tons of options almost too many as it took me a while to choose and I just went with what I know.

Big place empty for dinner. Almost left thinking it must not be good. What a pleasant surprise. Street tacos delicious. Service was great and very pleasab

Loved the food. Friendly staff! We just happen to drive by and saw it off the road. It is in a non discripted shopping center. Good portions.Cool little place. Will go there again when in Denver! In the picture is the hotpot.Chicken,Shrimp and Steak.

Didn't order online or call ahead, just walked in and ordered to go left and came back my food was ready. Was good food, the service wasn't bad either. Would I eat here again? I did three days later with my girl and she enjoyed it aswell.

Best food I have had in long time, service was great, we will be back for sure.
