Nachos were okay. Not too bad. Meat could have more flavor. Tacos were ON POINT! Wife had shrimp quesadilla and a shrimp taco and it was perfect. They made specific adjustments to make sure our food was as she liked. Service was so good it makes everything much better. Friendly. Caring and warm. Would definitely come back. *** UPDATE ***: Its been a couple of weeks since we came here and my wife was talking about how much she liked their food. We are planning on coming back soon ;
This is how I received my order. Disgusting literally soaked in oil. Tortilla was so soggy. Vegetables were too big not chopped at all. Couldn't even eat it seriously is inedible. Oh let’s not forget the fact that they were mad I left a review. They said because I left a review they wouldn't give me a refund. If that doesn't show enough about their business. Super unprofessional. Response to the owner- It was definitely not eaten it was the most disgusting thing ive ever gotten served from takeout. Must have been a miscommunication that you heard that he said we ate it because they both went into the trash before the phone call. Also its a HUGE inconvenience to go back and get a new dish.. no one has time for that and at that point no one wants the dish anymore its gross. Should have just gotten the orders correct the first time I didn’t think that would be so difficult. Didnt even offer a refund. $30 for trash.
Steak is burn! The bean is not bean and really bad! I called the store for they refund my money back and they don't care
The service was okay. I had the steak and vegetables for lunch. Ended up paying about $25, including the tip. The place looks a little rundown outside. It should have been my first clue. The salsa they offered me with the chips was mainly just tomato with not much flavor, second clue. The waitress offered me tortillas with my dish, and then she came back to my table to inform me that the dish I ordered did not come with tortillas and asked me if I wanted them anyway, I said yes they chatged me an extra $3.50 for the tortillas. The tortillas were not heated up correctly because they were braking apart when I took them out the aluminum foil they came in. The stake did not have any salt or any type of seasoning. The vegetables had a small drop of cheese and no other seasoning or flavor. The best part of the meal was the chips. They were nice and crispy. Will definitely will not go there again. Sorry if my critique seems harsh, but I'm just being honest. Parking: The parking lot is shared with other businesses. It was full the day I ate there.
Raised prices to ridiculous levels. We just spent 2 months in California and the prices are more than the beach front Mexican restaurant we always went to. We have a family of 6 and we ordered only 4 meals and split food and no drinks for lunch and it was $90 after tip. It sounds like I’m piling on but the water also tasted horrible. Like it had sewage in it or something. We’ve been going here for years but I highly doubt we’ll ever come back. Servers have always been friendly so no complaints about the service. This used to be good local Mexican restaurant for a good price and now it’s just a way over priced, below average restaurant. Regardless if inflation, this is way outpacing the other restaurant price increases in town.
Service is always great at our hometown favorite dinner spot. We’ve never had a bad experience here in the 10+ years we have been coming here. Highly recommend!
Great service but the food was what you expect but flavorless. Refried beans were liquid without substance. Tacos looked great but only good with salas doctored pico de gallo. Carna Verde, again look good, but lacked seasoning. Rice was without tsste.OK, but I cannot recommend Parking: Limited
I got chicken chimichunga it was good had just a quarter size tomatoes slice .tea was delicious.waiter had issue with taking a 10$ quarter roll towards my bill. I was even leaving a 5$ tip .for. 11$ meal .Food: 3/5
Very simple, and authentic Mexican restaurant. The service was no frills, prompt and attentive. I started off with a simple sautéed shrimp taco sprinkled lightly with onion and cilantro. Very delicious. There’s a lot on the menu to choose from but with help from my server I selected the no. 9 combination: a tamale and enchilada with rice and beans. It didn’t blow me away - too much cheese - but it had good flavor. As usual, when I go to Mexican restaurants I ate too much! The chips and salsa were good too....I’ll be back.
Really nice servers, place looks clean and the food was delicious!
