Went to a Bridal Shower here. I enjoyed my visit and the food. I had the Combination plate CZ. It was appealing and filling. Good customer service. We was informed about paying for our meals, because some people want to eat but not pay. So wrong!
Had lunch here today. Pretty good! The margaritas were "ok". The fajitas were tasty! I had #63 shrimp, chicken and beef. Service was quick!
My girlfriend and I went for the first time. It's legit seven minutes away from the house. There was wheelchair accessible parking. The restroom was tiny; however, accessible. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I ordered a queso dip small and had it sent back. The cheese tasted burnt. The salsa is fresh and homemade. I ordered a quesa-birria and a side of rice. I got full quickly off of one birria. My Arnold Palmer was delicious. My girlfriend ordered the shrimp al mojo de ajo. She stated that the seasoning was great! We had lunch for work the next day. The salsa is also fresh and homemade. This may be our new spot to get Mexican.
First I would like to start out by saying everyone was friendly, I have nothing bad to say about service. I just want to give an honest review on my food. My tamales were hard! The Masa was like a chip consistency. No sauce and little meat. I didn't know that was possible, im assuming they were old or over heated in a microwave. The food is mediocre at best, my whole table was unimpressed. The reviews saying it is the best Mexican restaurant leads me to believe noones been out of city or state lines. It was the worst I've ever tasted. Very cheap, and easy on the pockets. Wait time on food was fast.
This place is consistent in customer service, quality of food, value in price, oh don't let me forget those darn margaritas!!! Haven't had customer service like that since 1975!!! I hadn't been there in a long time, so impressed I've decided to have our New years Eve Eve celebration there with my seniors, December 29th!! It's going to be a fiesta Seniors-R-Us!-Bham style!!! I was recommended by someone to try the place. I can see why the restaurant was recommended. The food is hot and fresh, the atmosphere is authentic, and the staff was wonderful.Food: 5/5

The few times I have been here they have seemed to be busy. The food is at best B- . I'm not 1 to be mean but after this .. Finding a piece of steel scrub pad in my chile relleno and them not seeming to care as they said of its just a piece of aluminum wich it is not and not offering to do any thing or ask if they could even get me some thing else as I did not eat any more for the fear of eating some thing with out knowing it ... Will not be back
