If you want to be blocked on social media by Peter Zeive the owner of electroimpact then ask tough questions. If you can't answer tough questions you have no business in politics.

It's a fun place to work, lots of autonomy, and as much responsibility as you're willing to take on. Aircraft automation equipment is cool stuff.

I was a Canadian applicant to this company. I must say that their hiring process is pretty well set up -- they have you do an automated, timed test of your engineering knowledge to screen you initially. I scored high enough to warrant further consideration. The CEO, Dr. Peter Zieve, called me himself to ask me a few short questions regarding my experience. The only complaint I have is that Dr. Zieve actually asked me how old I was. He had no business or right to ask me that -- this is a protected ground under the Human Rights code in both Canada and the US. No employer is legally authorized to ask this question in the hiring process. In order to determine if someone is over the age of majority, which employers are entitled to do, they can just ask if someone is, say, over 18 or 21. Otherwise, seems like a decent company. They should just take the care not to do what I described to future applicants. I ended up not getting hired because I did not have enough CAD experience (fair).
