Flew in to drop off a guy for an airline flight out of this airport. I called ahead to see if they had a courtesy car, and was told that yes they do have one I could use to run the guy around to the other side of the airport to the terminal. So I get there, and right away I'm told I have to buy fuel. Except I'm pretty full. So I ask what's the minimum. She gives me a lot of "ahhhh" and "uhhhhh" and no clear answer. So I tell her "okay give me one gallon please" "Oh no we can't do that" "I seriously can't just use the car for 5 minutes and 2 miles, but you won't give me a minimum fuel purchase, but one gallon isn't going to work?" At this point I can tell she's pulling numbers out of thin air. "Uhhh we can't do less than 5 gallons" "Okay then given me 5 gallons" Then have to fill out two papers for the fuel and for the car... 🙄 Obtaining the "courtesy car" took longer than the flight here. No joke.
