I hadn't used my snow blower in over three years and it wouldn't start when I tried to fire it up this year. I took it in to Elson's Lawn and Garden expecting to have to have the fuel supply and lines cleaned out as well as new spark plugs etc. I was also prepared to leave it for over a week since I took it in the week of Christmas. They gave me a very reasonable estimate for their standard tune up when I dropped it off at lunch time and I spent less than 15 minutes on the drop off, very quick service. I received a call latter the same day that the blower was ready to go. I went over on my way home from work and picked it up. It started right up for me on the first try. They cleaned the fuel system, changed the oil and put in a new plug. Speedy service, polite staff, great price that they actually stuck to. I will definitely be using Elson's again.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Dropped my mower off to be serviced and was given a bill of $334. I called to confirm that the mower was finished and in good working order and double check on the invoice price. I was told by an Elson's employee that the invoice was indeed $334. Went the next day to pick it up and the invoice was now $444 and when I questioned the up charge the employee was very unprofessional. I also spoke with the owner and he was also just as unprofessional and made excuse after excuse. Shady business tactics and down right rude customer service.
Do not take your equipment to these incompetent thieves. I dropped off my chainsaw with 3 maintenance items to do: sharpen the chain, replace broken pull handle, & service rough running engine. They called 4 times to tell me it was done. Each time I went in they couldn't even start it. After the fourth time when the manager finally got it started I took my saw home to try it out only to find none of it had been fixed for my 65$. Went in and spoke with the same douche bag manager who told me he wasn't going to refund my money because he couldn't "find my job ticket and he had a business to run and couldn't take the time to find my paperwork". Save yourself the time and aggravation and go anywhere else.
I took my chain saw in two time with a leaking oil problem. This was never fixed. When I took it in the third time they wanted to charge me a deposit of $25.00. I would not recommend this place to anybody. They employ repair technicians who are inadequate.
I've been taking my mower here for years. They help me unload the mower and 3-4 days later its ready for pickup and they help me load it back up. Never had any issues.
Worst place ever! Been calling for 3 days to check status of my equipment being repaired. Paid fee to get repair speeded up. Was told it would be complete by the end of the day, that's was 2 days ago! No one ever answers the phone and now the voice mailbox is full!
It was awesome the guy Jessie spent two minutes looking at my lawn mower and had it diagnosed and fixed in that amount of time I would go back there anytime :-

They hold my lawn mower for 3 weeks and done nothing. The worst business ever.
