One of the most beautiful hotels ever! I absolutely LOVE this hotel. I love the lobby and the courtyard. The courtyard is amazing. All the beautiful plants and the duck ponds are so cool. There is an amazing breakfast which is free. They have a chef who makes omelets that are so good! One of the very best things about this hotel is their customer service! They are always professional and courteous
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was very nice. Beautiful water features in the lobby with ducks was a nice touch. The hotel bar was great, local beer selection was fun. Nighttime security staff was a bit much, I got hassled for standing outside my room while I waited for my +1 to get back to the room.
We stayed here two nights and had a suite. Rooms were nice but felt dated. Lacked lighting, all the lighting came from lamps. Bathroom was tiny and lacked any water pressure at all. We were supposed to get complimentary snacks in the room which were non existent. The kicker for me however was we paid a lot of money for our room yet we had to pay for parking? Kinda nonsense. I am still torn if I would try staying here again or not. One brightspot was the pub downstairs. Nice service, appetizers, and drinks and I thought fairly priced.
People were nice. Husband said eggs were delicious cooked to order. In a good area, but lots of construction now. Hot tub, jets only worked first night. Internet on big screen in lobby never worked and Internet connection rather slow. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Please note parking is 15 per night plus tax. You'd think guests at hotel would be exempt from parking fees. Happy hour was okay.
Good hotel with nice suites. Breakfast was included and was adequate. Received some free drinks for happy hour one night. Pool was nice, but they didn't have towels stocked when we used the pool one afternoon. Good location close to most of the places we wanted to go to. Overall, I recommend this hotel.
The rooms were pretty nice. They kept running out of food during the breakfast. They didn't have enough towels or wash cloths in the room. Most of the staff were cold and not very friendly. There were a few exceptions, including the security officer. He was awesome. But the layout and architecture were fantastic some parts need fixing and better upkeep though, especially for this price. The fitness center was great. And the ducks in the atrium were a highlight.
This hotel is okay. The rooms are fairly large but the bathroom is tiny. Bed was comfortable. There is a lot of deferred maintenance throughout this property with some areas in dire need of some upkeep. There were never any towels in the pool area even with a maintenance employee coming in and out. From day to day the same dirt remained in the pool area, i.e. garbage on the floor. The breakfast is great, including made to order omelets. But if you're there on a busy weekend like I was, prepare to eat standing up because there aren't enough tables. Also, bring your patience when taking the elevator.
Had a nice overnight stay. Rooms and common areas were clean and well kept. Room was bigger than expected. Decent food, grocery, and a green line train stop a short walk away. Staff was mostly very nice but front desk staff was very curt at best for every call or face to face interaction we had. Would probably stay again.
We came here for a wedding reception and not to spend the night. The hotel is beautiful but banquet rooms were very plain. The hotel staff seemed annoyed by the guests standing around while waiting for the reception area to open up. Once in the reception area the servers were very pleasant and accommodating. The food served was made well and did not come out dry and bland like I've experienced at most other wedding receptions. Overall a good experience.
One of the BEST hotels I've been to. Friendly staff, great social hour, wonderful breakfast made to order. The beds were incredibly comfortable! Bar was reasonably priced and the location couldn't be beat. The rooms were more like a small apartment with great amenities and the sleeping quarters could be closed off from the living area.
