I was traveling and hurt my ankle. From the airport in Houston, I was able to call Emerald Medical Supplies and they knew exactly what I needed, a knee scooter. Their pricing was WAY more than fair and by the time I landed in Las Vegas and made my way to the hotel, they had already delivered my scooter to the bell desk. With everything else I had to deal with work/convention this was pain free! Thank you Emerald team, I wish I had specific names to recognize exactly who helped; but it was the customer service agent answer to the delivery driver that went out of his way to get it there the same day.
Terrible experience. I reserved a wheelchair for a disabled relative who was coming to visit me here in Vegas. I was sent a confirmation that clearly states free delivery to home or hotel. I received several calls in a short period of time I'm a teacher so cannot pick up my phone during class time and I called back when I could. I told the person who answered that I was returning a call from an employee and that it would be difficult for me to receive a call during business hours that day. I asked to please speak to that employee. She then gave me another number to call and it turns out it was the employee's personal cell phone and she wasn't even in the office. The second employee wanted to know why I was calling her there and that she did not have any of my paperwork. I called a business to return a call and that was the number I was given!! The employee then recovered and told me she had called to ask me if I was either going to pick up the wheelchair or if I wanted to pay the delivery charge for home delivery. I was perplexed since my confirmation said Free delivery to your home/hotel. She again stated that there was no free home delivery. I then asked if my family had chosen to stay at a hotel they would get free delivery. She said yes. We went around and around for a few minutes. It is an absolutely absurd policy. It's more of a hassle to get into any hotel in Vegas then to deliver to my home with ample parking right next to my door. Needless to say, these folks use deceptive advertising and treat locals terribly. I cancelled my order and had a good experience with another company Scootaround who happily delivered for FREE on a day that their office was even closed.
Very friendly and helpful. Prices are affordable I went in for nebulizer equipment for my kids and was very satisfied with my products. Very quick in and out process.
Found a xtra large wrap knee brace for my husband that I couldn’t even find on Amazon! And better that he was able to try it on to make sure of the fit. The sales person was very helpful and showed him exactly how to wear it.
When I went in the woman working there was not wearing a mask. I asked, "Do you not wear masks in here?" She replied, "I don't" pointing to herself. I left immediately and will not patronize this business. This is a medical supply company not adhering to medical precautions and practices. Not to mention, as a store worker, she is exposed regularly and the people coming in here are caring for the most vulnerable of the community. She puts everyone at risk and has probably spread the virus already. This business should be fined.
I have rented a hoyer lift from them nearly every time I've traveled to Las Vegas. They deliver and pick up to my hotel with little to no issues. Would recommend them to anyone needing to rent a lift.
Great costumer service they have everything u can use for medical supplies they are fast and very helpful
I have used Emerald Medical on several occasions and have to say that the service is fantastic and the people who have helped me are very, very helpful! I called yesterday with a last minute reservation and it was like talking to a friend. She was polite with a great sense of humor, while being very professional. She clarified all the information and even caught when I said the wrong delivery point. Thank you so much! Now I get a nice weekend:
Staff has always been helpful. Now u have a power hoyer patient lift to sell just wish they would answer the phone so I can figure out how to sell it now that I no longer need it
Last month, I broke my leg and had surgery and a hospital stay for a couple days. The hospital would not let me be released until I had a wheelchair, crutches, and a walker - it was almost 5pm when we were notified of this. We were handed a list of medical supply places and my significant other called a lot of the places to get quotes on a wheelchair rental. He skipped the cheapest place as they had terrible reviews. He drove to Emerald Medical Supply and arrived after they were closed, they stepped outside and asked him what he needed and they helped him anyways. He said they were very friendly and accommodating and he rented it for three months. Then he showed up saving the day with the wheelchair back at the hospital and we were allowed to leave and go home! A couple weeks later my surgeon prescribed a "tall cam walking boot" and sent me to another orthotic supply place who said that since I didn't have insurance I would have to pay for the boot up front in the amount of $650 dollars, they also did not have "appointments" until three weeks later. Since I could not afford that, and I could not wait, I did not go there. The next day, I ended up getting a wheelchair given to me and needed to return my rented chair to Emerald Medical Supply. We called ahead of time and spoke to the manager who said to bring the chair back for the refund and also stated they had "tall cam walking boots", the price was only $100, not $650. When the manager found out that I did not have medical insurance and heard my story, she gave special consideration and lowered the price to $80 dollars and expressed concern about my situation. This is the first time I have received a LOWER price because I did not have insurance. Everyone else so far has forced me to sign promissory notes, pay upfront, denied service, and been very cold and assuming I don't pay my bills when I tell them I don't have medical coverage. Awesome service!
