We Emler!!!! We love the Emler Westwood facility! Our girls swimming continues to improve week by week, thanks to the incredible instructors! Emler Westwood's communication is outstanding if there is a substitute instructor, or just keeping things clear during the enrollment processes. And most importantly we have felt our kiddos and family have been kept SAFE during the pandemic!
Elmer is such a welcoming place! Both of our kids have felt totally comfortable there from the very start. My older daughter had Miss Bella last year and was so excited to get her again this session. Miss Bella is fun and energetic and is an excellent teacher. My son 3 yrs old has Miss Lauren. It’s his first time taking lessons and she has him going underwater for 5-10 seconds already! I highly recommend Elmer.
Emler has been a wonderful learning environment for our son to explore the water. We have had Bella as an instructor since we started going nearly 1 year ago, and have been very impressed with her abilities to allow the children to have fun but also keep them safe, while also helping our child to advance his swimming skills. The only downfall we have had is that when classes have been canceled, we have received late notice to where we have already been on the way to class or had already arrived for the class to be told it had been canceled, which is very disheartening when we drive 45 minutes one way to go to these classes. They have since made improvements, such as sending texts out about canceled classes, which is much appreciated.
/we started Emler when our youngest was just over a year, he is now 4 and we still do swim lessons every winter through Emler. He is so much more comfortable around the water than many kids his age that did not do swim lessons. Emler has such a user / kid friendly operation, we look forward to going every week - and more importantly, our son looks forward to it! Instead of being a scary experience, the Emler team teaches water safety and skills in a friendly and approachable manner that's fun for the kids and gives a sense of relief to parents! Highly recommend!
Our children have been swimming with Emler Swim School of Kansas City-Westwood since they opened this location in 2018. My youngest started swim lessons here when she was just 4 months old. The facility is always clean, the staff members are always friendly, helpful and professional and the swim instructors are AMAZING! The teachers always have a smile on their faces while teaching. They makes class fun while encouraging each child to learn and grow their swim skills! The fact that my 3 year old can swim with her face in the water for 10 seconds is absolutely amazing. I recommend Emler Swim School to any parent I know who is looking for quality swim lessons.
Love Emler. Our child started the program very hesitant to put his face in the water. He can now swim underwater for five seconds. The transformation has been amazing. He loves going to swim lessons - the teachers Ms. Anne is wonderful! are kind and supportive, the environment fun and joyous. I would recommend Emler to anyone that has tried other swim lessons but hasn't had luck, we love it here!
Emler is fabulous! They really care about children and want them to succeed at being safe swimmers. Admin staff are really helpful and the swim instructors are motivating, patient, and caring. This term we loved our instructor Lauren!!! She helped our kiddo make tremendous leaps in his confidence in the water. Thanks Emler.
We love Emler. My daughter started swim class when she was 7 months old. She is now 3 years old and people are always amazed when they see her in the water. Of course we always watch her closely in water but I feel so much better knowing she can hold her breath under water for at least 10 seconds and knows how to swim to the side and climb out of the pool on her own. I also love that once a semester they have the kids jump in the pool in their full clothes and get out to stimulate an accidental fall in a pool. Lastly my daughter loves it and looks forward to swim class every week. Could not recommend higher!
My kids have been swimming at Emler since they were babies and love their classes. Lessons are safety focused and fun! Both swim very well for their ages, and we have Emler to thank. The peace of mind that comes with knowing my kids have respect for the water and can swim proficiently is priceless. Highly recommend!
