This place is a wonderful rooftop bar! The Freehold Rooftop inside the Pod 39 Hotel offers great views of NYC and serves a nice selection of drinks and cocktails! Definitely get their Apple Cider Bourbon Cocktail! The place is beautifully decorated and the ambience is fantastic! The staff ‍ is super friendly and the service is quick. ⏲ I wish I came here earlier and more often!

Place and view are nice. But customer service is awful. Me and my husband took a sit on one of a tables but a waiter was ignoring us and wasn’t paying attention to us knowing that we took the table as he removed stuff from previous customers. Then I decided to go and order some drinks at a bar but a bartender wasn’t paying attention to me as well. She was just staying and talking with another customer for some period of time. Then I’m tired to wait a little bit and attract her attention, but nothing, and came back to my table. We waited a little bit and just left this place. Overall we were waiting around 30 minutes. Our mood went down and we found another place close by.

Friendly bartenders, fair priced drinks, cocktails made by hand, and if it’s hot, they have frozen margaritas! Also lots of spots to be in the sun or shade. There were some grandparents here as well as college she people and everyone seemed to be enjoying the views on the 4th of July.Food: 5/5

Beautiful place on top of Pod 39. Went on Saturday and waited for the one bartender to attend to me for 30 minutes and gave up and left. Came back on Sunday I'm staying in Pod and got friendly service, but still very understaffed and no table service. I ordered the tuna tacos and I can say, they were the worst tacos I have ever had. Cost $22 for 3 tacos the size of my thumb. See photo The tuna was dog-food grade. Absolutely horrible. Drinks and vibe was nice, but too much waiting and horrible food.

The staff was great here. Very nice and accommodating. The margarita was a bit heavy on the sour mix. The guacamole was good and shareable. Might need two helping though. Brussels sprouts are a must have and the tacos are just ok, some tasted a bit a bit bland but you get good portions.

The view from their rooftop is quite great! We went as a group of around 15 people for an office get together with a reserved private space . Their guacamole, chips and tacos were pretty good . Music was good but a little loud making it a bit difficult to listen to anyone else talking . Nice experience overall!

Overall very nice views. Nice spot but tacos r overpriced and extremely too small. Kid bite size to be completely honest n not too much flavor. Chips n guacamole were good but very overpriced as well. Pics look way bigger than actual size .

Great hotel bar. Atmosphere was really nice - had been wanting to visit for awhile, so popped in for a quick drink. We were disappointed that the rooftop bar was closed seasonal but went to the lobby bar instead. Wasn’t super busy during weekend happy hour which was nice. Margarita was very good and service was polite.

Carnitas tacos are delicious!!!! Not too spicy but soooo tasty The chilian sangria is also very good, easy too drink fast. Decor is great too, staff are very nice too. Would recommend!!!!

Second time I’ve been here for a company event. Great spaces, good margaritas enjoyed several cucumber margaritas. The munchies we had were good too, beef on a stick, nachos with beef and chicken quesadillas. Our waitress was fantastic.
