I was a walk in! Let me tell you, Bring cash about $40 bucks will do. I got there at 8:55am on a Saturday and was out by 9:45am. I walked in and let one of the barbers that I was a walk in and he asked big man Jimmy if he has room. He quickly said yes and walked up to us. Jimmy was very polite and asked my 9yr old boy if he knows what he wants. He told him and off they went. He told him he wanted a design on the side of his head and Jimmy told him I got you little man. The shop was playing music and it was nice a mixture of top 2000 mixed. Music was not cray loud where it’s annoying. They have 2 TVs and they play movies. The shop is 100% clean and no one was on there phone! The guys do talk but they don’t stop cutting hair to tell a story. The atmosphere has a LA Vibe and the guys are guys. They talk trash to each other and remember it’s a barber shop. They respect the fact if a kid or a lady is in the room the conversation doesn’t get to out of control. Example when I was at the shop with my 9yr old and another lady an her son was at the shop also. The conversation went from Who eats an In & Out burger at 9am? Then they started tell there best way to order burgers! Lol it was funny… All in all this place is great. Do recommend to set an appointment or if your walking in get here before 9am on Saturday. Jimmy you cut my Boys hair and you locked it out the park. To see you take your time and told him where he wanted the design and seeing my boy with a big smile. That’s what it’s all about. Big ups for our local barabers who make every person smile after a good cut.
Please don’t allow the below 5 stars to detour you! The shop is very clean and welcoming! I did set an appointment for my son, which I would recommend, due to how busy they are. Watching each barber work, I must say I’m very impressed. From the haircuts, cleanliness, diversity, professionalism etc. Dustin was my barber of choice and he did not disappoint! He was on time, very efficient and precise. I drove 35 minutes past many amazing shops in my area, and I must say, Empire Barbers will be our go to !!!!!
I enjoy coming here. I usually get a guy who comes on Saturdays to help out and not only is his customer service on point but he cuts my hair so well and so fast. Only thing stopping it from 5 stars was when I went woth the normal day to day employees, I felt ignored. The guy who comes in to help Saturdays is extremely friendly and usually takes in walk-ins. I recommend you ask for him.
Do not go here if you want to get a decent haircut!!!! Save your money,m. We decided to try this new place an what a disappointment, this place was bust!!!! First of all never did my son nor would he ever ask for someone to shave his forehead let alone part of his eyebrow. Why in the world would you put a blade to a kid’s face without even asking if that is what they want. You can not assume that everyone likes this look, and how do tell the so called “barber” to stop once the started shaving all while being rough. To top it off it’s it even centered, he took way to much off on one side. The right side way off! Never going back!!! Enter at your own risk, I wouldn’t even give it one star! Where did they buy their license?!
Would not recommend for black hair asked for a fade for my son and it was not as requested. Paid $30 for a kids haircut i could have gotten for $10. There was no one in the shop and i understand why.Service: Haircut
I took my son for a hair cut they are possibly the only ones who are open late till 8. It looked clean and nice. We didn’t have to wait long for a walk in at 7pm. However I would Definitely not come back to this location because they curse so much talk about getting waisted and partying it up 24/7. We don’t curse in out household or let our children talk like that so unfortunately because of that I would not take my son. They did provide a great hair cut probably the best one he’s had.
I tried making appointments online or via text and they either declineyes decline your appointment or respond telling you their not in the shop today or on these days then after declining they don't give any info when they will be available, they have a website but most of them are the never available the same day even if you're the site says this times are available, they will decline you, and they don't like walk INS, they will look at you as of you're not standing there!!
I just moved to the area and this shop is the 1st I tried out. I didn't need to look any further. They have a lot of barbers and from what I've experienced and seen, ALL of them are great. The shop itself is clean and organized. They do walk ins and appointments. So far I've cut my hair with 2 barbers and both left me feeling like, this is the best haircut I've ever got. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a go to shop, give this place a try!
Never again will I go back to this shop. I hate barbers that act like just because you're a walk in your money doesn't mean s**t to them. I waited almost 2hrs to be seated while barbers were finishing cuts then sitting on their phones for 10-15 min ignoring the fact they had ppl waiting. I've gone to multiple barbers & I understand its always best to make an appointment but any barber i know doesn't even do appointments on weekends because they know they are going to be busy. Nice place but super disappointed. Roxanna was the only cool one actually taking walk-ins
