It was my very 1st visit to Empress of China. Since the age of 4-yrs old, I grew up on eating/became a LOYAL eater of the famous "Chinese Kitchen" UpTown. But I must admit, the food at Empress was DELICIOUS...and EVERYTHING that I ordered tasted FRESH!!! I was very pleased, and WILL be RETURNING soon to try the SHRIMPLO-MEIN.
The restaurant is very nicely decorated. The food was really good. Be cautious though you get a lot more food than what you think your ordering, which is a great thing in my book! Our 2 plates could have fed at least 5 or so people.
Always quick! And amazing food! Pricey outside of lunch, and appetizers...
Could’ve been much better, I enjoyed the rice, the egg roll could’ve had a different flavor batter, and the General Tso Chicken was not it, too dry! But nice food proportions!!

This place is good, the reviews about this restaurant is correct we ordered pineapple/thai shrimp fried rice, cantonese catfish, pork fried rice , moo shu pork, and also chicken with almond. These plates could feed 10 people large portions.
