As someone who moves around a lot, finding a new nail salon I like in the area I’m at currently is often tough but since being in Portland, I came across this place, been here twice and absolutely love how they do my nails. My dip nails look natural and last longer. And the ladies are super nice to their customers, you feel welcome! Will definitely be going back!Service: Dip powder
Quality of work is great!! Always love my nails from Lan - she gets it right every time. Previous rating 5/5. New rating 1/5 Major EDIT: Lan has moved to "Florida" - a lot to unpack there. New people have replaced a few of the older ones. Quality of nails service has gone down. After almost a month my previous brown nails still looked intact. The right image is four days after a fresh fill FOUR days. Unacceptable. I came in to get it fixed and they started acting real funny. Basically tried to make me feel like I was trying to cheat them instead of owning up to their mistake that the owner shouldn’t be finishing customer nails because they’re busy if he doesn’t know how to do nails. Pretty simple to me. They made me wait for some time while having a few workers available, I got up to leave and she said oh sorry we are busy. I actually returned after realizing this is just absolutely ridiculous and asked for a partial refund, since I’ll have to go to another shop to get it fixed and all of a sudden someone was magically available instantly to do my nails. Really? Overall, I found the experience to be very poor and unprofessional customer service. They did end up fixing three nails but going to search for another shop.
Came here with family and friends we were not happy with quality of work ,They were rude with us when I ask about something or I could not understand them , At frist they asked if I am from here when I told them Im tourist they didn't do better job or treat you like normal customer ,The place we're I did my pedicure and manicure was dirty with nails when I sat down
Such a bummer. Really like the location of the salon and most people who work here are quite kind and I really would like to give more stars. Now have experienced a third disappointing experience, however, and prompted to leave a review. Was overcharged on a wax service recently. Purchased a gift certificate for someone after asking how much it cost for the service 45 I purchased a gift certificate for $5 more knowing that the tip would be given by the person with their certificate. Regardless, when friend went to use certificate they were told the service was $15 more than I had been quoted. Was not a service that had a description of __& up, rather a fided price. I had purchased the certificate the same day as receiving a shellac mani-pedi. My shellac manicure fell off and started to peel chip and pieces completely removing themselves from my nail only 2 and 1/2 days later. Did not do anything weird with my nails just your everyday hand washing/life. This is now the third time I've had a disappointing manicure experience especially with shellac and feeling like the manicure was quite rushed and not quality.. not lasting more than a week.Services: Polish removal
Favorite place in Sellwood to get my nails done! The women are so sweet and do such a great job. I especially enjoy getting pedicures here...They’re always very thorough, and give a great massage!
I used to go to enails but I stopped once I heard my lady left but I had gone there for 10 years and now it's under new management and I will not be returning found a new nail salon that's so much better cause the new owner doesn't seem to care how good people stuff turn out
I have to start by saying I love this place. I have been coming here off and on for years since moving to the sellwood area. My nailbeds have always been slightly problematic because the cuticle practically takes over my nail if I go without a manicure for a few weeks. So, that was the case today. I had let my nails go for about 6 weeks so the cuticles were very long. Post wedding lazies, you get the idea. To her defense, the place got suddenly busy while doing my nails and she was answering the phone, while greeting incoming guests, while calling some backup for how suddenly busy it was. This was when she started my nails. Among the busyness, she cut my cuticle too deep on both my middle fingers to the point of bleeding. It stung every time she touched it. She proceeded to apologize, but an hour later and my nailbeds are in pain. I feel horrible to say that I likely will not be coming back as there should be some kind of control for when it gets busy and clients regular ones at that who pay full price should not be subjected to pain. I was looking forward to this self care but instead am sitting at home with ice on my fingers. Anyway, this place is amazing for pedicures but I had to give 4 stars due to the pain in my fingers. Also this is the first time in my 6 plus years of getting manicures from these kind ladies that I didnt enjoy. Go and judge for yourself. It was $59 for a basic pedi and basic shellac mani, including nail kit and not including tip.
If you're looking for dip powder/SNS in Portland, this is the place to go! The staff is so kind and does an excellent job. I got one of the best dip manicures I've ever had here. It's my new go-to!Services: Dip powder
They are so sweet here. I was trying to decide between a solid bright orange or a nail art and she came up with something that I really like. The massage was really nice too. Thank you!
