I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable dress and a memorable experience. Kathy is AMAZING!!! She was super personable and did many things out of her way to make me feel so genuinely special from start to finish during my bridal appointments. I had such a great experience here because of her. She worked hard to make sure I was happy and taken care of during the whole process. I appreciated all her kind words and also how fun she made my whole experience at Encore!! Encore is a beautiful shop that is clean, organized, and run by a fabulous and passionate woman. Kathy at Encore was instrumental in helping me try on wedding gowns, find and select specific styles, and make sure I had an overall fun and wonderful time! Encore is the first place I went looking for a wedding dress and the last place I’ll be looking. Kathy is an expert in her field. I highly recommend booking an appointment with her. Can’t wait for my dress to arrive soon!

Rip off! My mother of the bride dress was supposed to arrive on August 23rd, 2023. We went to pick up my daughter’s wedding dress and I was told, great news your dress and the wedding parties’ dresses will be arriving by 8-21/23. They said maybe sooner but we don’t want to jinx it. On the 21st we were told the dresses are in Georgia. The 23rd came and nothing. My daughter got a refund on the wedding parties dresses. I disputed mine with the bank. This business LIED and said they gave me my dress. I had to buy a dress off Amazon. They lied and told my bank I have the dress. Do not do business with them. -09% lies.. response… you never called or texted me. You did not have my dress before the wedding. You refunded my daughter when she went in person. Why would you place my dress for sale when I paid for it?

Working with Kathy today was phenomenal!! I was so anxious about the whole wedding dress experience, especially because I've heard so many firsthand experiences that were ruined for ladies who are a little bit larger like me. My experience at Encore was completely judgement-free, relaxed, and comfortable! Kathy really knows her stuff and was so encouraging. I was not expecting to find THE dress today, but with her guidance and knowledge on how we could slightly customize the design I fell in love with, I found the ONE. I am SO looking forward to working more with her and the team as we finalize the customizations on my dress and see it through to the final product!

I took my sister here to find a dress after about 6 other stores. We had an amazing time here and she finally said yes to the dress. Ms. Kathy had amazing energy and she made this process so memorable. I will suggest this store to anyone on their dress shopping journey. When my son became engaged on 2022, the bride's mom and I decided we would have found our MOB and MOG dresses by May 2023 and while she found her's, I wasn't so lucky. I had a vision in my head of what i wanted to look like on my son's special day, but couldn't articulate in words. I went to all the big box stores, nothing that said "take me home" and at most bridal shops, you needed an appointment. When I called Encore Formals and Bridal, the voice on the other line was inviting and welcoming. I didn't need an "appt" to come into her shop. On the day I met Ms. Kathy, it felt as if I had known her all my life. I showed her the picture of the prospective dress and low and behold she had it in black, I needed a color in the purple family. The moment I put on the dress, I knew I had finally found my dress. Ms. Kathy went to work on finding my dress in the color I needed for the wedding. She reached out to all her contacts and searched high and low and found the dress in San Francisco. There was a problem with shipping and the dress was not delivered until almost end of Aug. With alterations needing to be done, I felt a little stressed if it would be ready for Oct 6th wedding. Again Ms. Kathy put on her super woman cape and along with the best seamstress in the world, the dress was ready on Sept 23rd. It was a very happy day! I said all of that to say, if you want an experience of a lifetime, if you want to be surrounded by people who love what they do and love the business they have chosen, if you want someone to go to bat for you to ensure your visions become reality, then Encore Formals and Bridal, Ms. Kathy and her team are THE BEST HANDS DOWN. YOU WILL ONLY REGRET IT IF YOU DON'T SHOP HERE FIRST. Words can't express what I felt when my son said "Mom, you are beautiful" on his special day. I came to Encore Bridal thinking that my request was crazy, and that they’d never be able to help me. My sister had gotten me an appointment to try on dresses less than a week before I was leaving the country. Not only did they find a dress that fit me off the rack, they let me rush order shortening the skirt. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The dress was a lot less expensive than I was expecting too. Having a proper wedding dress made my crazy Covid-time rush wedding feel a lot more special. I’ve also been to Encore Bridal to see my sister try on wedding dresses as well, and they did a great job finding her an unconventional dress for her planned Halloween wedding. I think this place is a gem and I recommend it to anyone in the area with an upcoming wedding.

I'm not from Georgia, but my family lives there now. So over Thanksgiving break this year, my mom arranged for her, myself, my sisters, and my grandma to visit Encore so I could find my wedding dress. I was skeptical at first because it is a rather small shop, HOWEVER, they have an extremely affordable selection with a lot of different styles and it's not overwhelming like some places. When we arrived in the morning, we had the whole place to ourselves, which made the experience even more fun! Jessica and Kathy were extremely helpful, especially since I went in not really knowing what I was looking for. They helped me find my wedding dress style, and even though I had an appointment booked somewhere else the "say yes to the dress" store, I ended up canceling because I found my DREAM DRESS at Encore! OVERALL: I would highly recommend to any bride looking for a more personal, private experience. I did not feel pressured at all and was able to take my time and find my perfect dress. They had a nice sitting area for my mom, sisters, and grandma and we had so much fun! They even sent a sweet handwritten card to my house in Texas after I purchased my dress. Overall I loved my experience here - thank you Encore!

I had such a great experience here! Kathy worked with my schedule and gave me an appointment that allowed all of my best girlfriends to be with me. She made me feel so great about myself the whole time I was there. Extremely helpful and full of life and personality. She had such a vast knowledge of the names and styles from my inspiration pictures. This was the first and only place I looked for my perfect dress, and I couldn’t be more in love. When it came to picking up my dress, Sarah was so helpful as well. She allowed me to try it on again, take more pictures, and offered me even more advice as far as alterations went. All in all my experience was lovely every step of the way. They made me feel more like a friend or family member, not just a customer. I could tell they genuinely loved to see me smile. 10/10 recommend. Thank you so much ladies!
