Story

Ensz & Jester, P.C. is a litigation firm formed on April 1, 1982. It began its focus defending cities and counties in Western Missouri in 1985, and has been an active participant in the field of government liability defense work since its inception. Over the last 25 years, the attorneys at Ensz & Jester have actively contributed to defining Missouri's waiver of sovereign immunity law and have sought to limit its application to benefit governmental entities.

In addition to its governmental liability defense practice, the firm is a resource for human resource issues and employment law applications in governmental and private industry settings, as well as providing all other full range litigation services. The firm also provides corporate and business law assistance to numerous corporations in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area.
