ENT and Allergy Associates

This place is basically an industrial jab factory. Despite that they remind you to arrive 15 minutes early, on average you'll be waiting about 15 minutes post apt time to actually get your allergy shot. The nurses are nice enough and Dr Yar is ok but she can be rushed and abrasive, and make you feel like your questions are dumb. BUT, the older woman at the front desk Sara is absurdly unhelpful, rude and unprofessional. The kicker is she is the office manager and boss to the other front desk staff. Often she will not even bother to look up if you are awkwardly standing in front of her waiting to be helped, and pretend not to see you. Finally if you ask her something basic like to schedule a follow-up apt, she will treat you very disrespectfully and act very bothered/agitated by you. It is very uncomfortable. I have seen her do this to others multiple times and experienced it myself, so it wasn't just one "bad day". I am shocked that she was hired for this role and very much doubt the doctors would be pleased knowing she behaves so unprofessionally while representing their practice.

This is by far been the best ENT experience I have ever had- coming as someone that had throat problems growing up and is into scuba diving, so I have seen a lot of doctors with this specialty. Dr. Nahm has been the best. I’m super grateful for how diligent and patient centered he has been.

This place is horrible!! They sit around looking busy but, there chilling. Nurse totally unprofessional. They let staff members who daughter was sick in front of people who been sitting for hours. A lady by the name of 'CONSTANCE' whom SCHEDULES the appointments is rude/unprofessional/ignorant.

This office has been great to work with. I've gone to the allergy doctor for testing and treatment and have felt so much better since going. Referred a friend from work who was really suffering and he said his life has changed because he feels so much better. The allergy doc also found that my 7 yr old had a build up of wax in her ears and they were able to fit her right in with an ENT doc for an ear cleaning that went great! She said she can hear better and feels so much better also! I will definitely continue to go here for my family.

Stay away from here. They are not transparent. I went to get a routine check up for sinusitis. Not for a diagnosis but simply to determine why the increased frequency of sinusitis. A diagnostic endoscopy was requested and I agreed to it not knowing that it would be $150.00 extra. I didn’t know because the doctor never mentioned the possibility of extra charges. He just did the endoscopy. Not done in good faith and extremely unprofessional.

Service is relatively fast and the doctor was capable enough. He was able to remove a piece of earwax was deeply stuck in my ear. However they charged me $300 which was a huge surprise and an amount I thought was unreasonable.

Terrible human relations, period. Choose another location, the experience might be better. Unaccommodating, rude, and robotic front-desk staff. Rather jarring considering the 5th Avenue NYC location is the polar opposite.

The office management here is horrendous! I saw Dr Hale here for years she’s fabulous but this office’s shady practices are not worth it. I’m an active patient still filling scripts for treatment and they sent me to a collections agency for an unpaid bill in the amount of $22.91. Yes, they would rather the $10 they’ll get from the collections agency than just call or email me or wait until I come in next time?? I’m more annoyed than anything else and so would recommend everyone to stay away!

I almost didn’t come here given all of the bad reviews. My experience with the front desk was great, they were super helpful with trying to sort my insurance and the doctor I saw was fantastic. I’m the worst patient in the world and the bed side manner between the assistants and doctor were amazing. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Incredible staff here, makes me forget about having to get shots every week. Absolutely love Dr. Yar, I don’t think I’ve met another doctor who is as kind and knowledgeable as her. Makes the checkups easy and interesting, a doctor that actually isn’t a nightmare to have to see!
