I regret that Pete Campbell feels that we treated him badly, but the fact is we ARE NOT THE CONTRACTOR who installed his HVAC systems nor did we do any of the duct work during a recent remodel in his suite. He kept insisting that we were, but that simply is not the case.
He placed a service call to us, and asked us to troubleshoot an airflow issue in his office. Our tech found some disconnected 6" round duct work above the ceiling which he repaired and then verified airflow with a velometer.
Several days later, he called us back for the same issue. A different technician inspected the previous repair and found it was intact. When he advised Pete's employee that he would need to trace the remainder of the duct work where it goes through the wall and above a hard ceiling to find any new issues, Pete's employee informed our tech that wouldn't be necessary, and told our tech to leave...so he left. Nobody on site even knew where their air handling unit was located, and there were no drawings available.
Obviously we sent an invoice for our time there trying to help him.
Upon receipt of the invoice Pete called me and was very belligerent, insisting that I cancel the invoice AND come back to find/fix the problem for free. I patiently tried to explain to Pete that we were not the installing contractor, but he insisted that we were and kept telling me that he has "over a million square feet of space in Charlotte". I kindly explained to him that while he may own a considerable amount of space in Charlotte, we hadn't worked in any of it prior to his call about no air flow.
I hope that another contractor has better success reasoning with Pete and the folks at Blanq Canvas. I don't believe any contractor would be willing to work for free, but we certainly hope that Pete has gotten to the bottom of this situation. Likewise, we hope that the interior environment is now comfortable for Pete as well as anyone who might patronize Blanq Canvas at 2303 West Morehead Street, Charlotte, NC.

customer servive is terrible. These guys are penny wise and pound foolish. Would rather jam you on couple bucks than make something right. Told them issue wasn't reslolved on first trip made and could they go back out without a charge to check on issue. found out they came back and charged me for two hours of "work" without letting me know. Take your business elsewhere. Not good for small business owners and large clients watch your expenses!!

James was very helpful in getting a quote for my commercial HVAC project, answering questions, and providing details. Very easy to work with.

Worst business experience I have ever had. Too many issues to list here. Save yourself time and money and go elsewhere!

I was very disappointed with the service. The technician who came onsite did not clean up after himself as he looked into the scope of the work. He informed me that he would provide a quote for the work, and I never heard back from him. I called him several times, and he never responded. I finally called the main office to see if that technician was no longer there, and after a little research, they informed me that they were not interested in this job with no other explanation or apology for the lack of communication. It would have been nice for them to call and tell me that. I would not recommend their service. I had a much better experience with Action Mechanical and Ross & Witmer. Good luck!
