Actual work done was great! My issue is around the lack of communication during this process. Brought my bike in for a new rear wheel, was given an estimated completion date of 8/24. I 100% understand it was an estimate, however not was I once reached out to. It took me calling Erik’s, on 8/26 to get my first update. Here’s where the communication gets even worse. When I called on 8/26 I was told my bike was ready. However, when I show up at the store, they inform me that I actually was talking to a central call center, not the store specifically even though the phone menu makes it’s sound like you are talking to the specific store…, and they are not sure why they would have said my bike was ready, because they were still waiting for my new wheel to actually arrive… The lady helping me also said she’d see if she could get me an update on the delivery, but call me back later that day regardless. Surprise, surprise…no call. Repair was finally completed on Wednesday 8/31.
Emily was amazing! We were in the market for an E-bike, she was able to answer all of our questions and we appreciate the low pressure sales approach. Thanks so much, we love the bike and we know Erik’s will be there whenever we need more help.
Poor customer service, I paid premium price for the bike and lock I bought with the piece of mind that if things don’t work, I will bring them in so that they can fix or cover the warranty. Big mistake! You are better off buying cheap at walmart and replace it once things break.
It was OK. They said they'd text me when it came in, but they never did. Otherwise they are really nice and everything was cool. Good folks, easy to work with. The text thing was important because I have major memory loss TBI and they assured me they'd do it. But I'll still shop there and I still love them. Lesson learned.
They can't change a tire on a wheelbarrow wheel, the same as changing the wheel of a bike, a shame, very bad customer service, I think they don't like to work, not recommended. I called asking if they could do it, and I bring the things to do the job and they told me that they could not do it, waste of time, gasoline and money. Bumps!
I came here intending on spending $2,000+ on a new Electric bike today. Unfortunately I was never greeted, welcomed or asked if I needed any help. I have some easy questions about features power and size of bike. This is very disappointing. I've bought all of my bikes from eriks but I will not be back they just don't care. To be clear I don't expect one to to personally serve me or be my shopper. I just expect basics like hello or welcome, is there something specific that brings you in today. This shouldn't be complicated. On my way out I found out the two salesmen were behind the front counter giggling and joking about women. That's cool guys keep the bike.
I ordered a new tire and had it installed. I love the new tire. It would have been nice to have had the option to wait while the new tire was installed. Instead, I had to leave the wheel and come back later.
Great experience my first time in an Erik's. Dillon was very friendly and helpful answering questions and directing me on which bike would be a good fit for me. Great customer service!
I was greeted promptly as I entered the door and offered assistance. I needed help purchasing tires for my bike and was pointed in the right direction and my questions were answered to buy the best type of tire for my bike.
I had a minor repair needed and they were able to take care of it quickly and did a high quality job to prevent further damage.
