Employees are very pleasant. They allowed us to see a few rooms prior to choosing. They sell beer which you are able to take into the room. They will explain the pros and cons to each room so you choose what's best for your group. "Cabin" was legit. Supposedly mild level of difficulty which was cool for us since it was the end of the day and we just wanted to have a little fun - not struggle too much with complex clues and puzzles. They allowed us unlimited hints which is great to keep it moving a long and not get stuck for too long. We had to enter the cabin and then lock the cabin. Much more detailed than this but essentially it was like 2 different puzzles in one escape room. We would love to come back.
I brought my team here for a Team Building activity, it was great. The atmosphere in the main area was very chill and relax. The chess sets and giant Connect 4 was really cool. The Pirate Adventure was a lot of fun. The whole team had a great time solving the clues and escaping game. I would definitely recommend for team building or just going to have a good time.
This escape room is absolutely fantastic!! All of the games are interesting and exciting! I totally recommend coming here! We had the opportunity to play all of the rooms and escaped all of them! There are a few amazing employees here that I would like to shout out! If I spelt your name wrong, I’M SORRY. -Katie -Michael -Avery -Shay -Jorge You guys were phenomenal and and I can’t thank you enough for making us feel so welcome!
We had a great time! We did the Titanic room and it was such a brain game, and the clues were really awesome!! So much fun, and Jorge and Shea were so nice!! I definitely would come back to try the other rooms. Also, really cool that they have games and drinks in the lobby.
This was such a great experience with my kids. We had a ball trying to get out of the mummy tomb. Matt was very courteous when we first came in and even called me to ensure we were on our way and didn’t have difficulty finding the place. We were running a few minutes late because of Uber. Katie was wonderful in giving us hints when we needed it, and at the same time allowed us the opportunity to figure out clues on our own. We made it out with 26 seconds to spare. Next time I hope we can get out without any clues!! Great place for family and friends!!!
Great experience! Tati and Matt made it very enjoyable! Would definitely book again, unfortunately it’s our last day in DC! We did the curse of the mummy which was challenging at first. After finishing you can chill and play board games too!
we had an absolute BLAST at the escape game dc!!!! shoutout to solomon and taylor for being amazing game guides and guest specialists, we are so happy that we were able to experience all the different rooms dc had to offer! cant wait to visit downtown soon :0

This escape room brand is my top 3 and I've done over 110 escape rooms to date. The staff here was great. We had so much fun we just kept booking the next room when we got done with the first. At this location, this is the order I liked for expert level Elixir, Pirate, Mummy, Titanic then Cabin. Do not do Cabin if you've played a lot of escape rooms, you won't be challenged. But that one is good for beginners and families. Katie, Matt, and I wish I could remember the check in girl and manager's name were all great.
Excellent escape room venue - there is a bar, board games like coup and codenames, Jenga, large connect four, plenty of couches and more! We really enjoyed the escape room which was well-decorated, interactive, and fun for our group!
