Etheria Salon and Day Spa

Perhaps I’m in the minority but I had a terrible experience from start to finish. There was poor customer service. The stylish rushed through the haircut, barely asked me what I wanted, how I styled my hair normally or what I typically did for maintenance. And for a 10 minute generic haircut is was waaaay too expensive. I paid almost as much as I would at the salon I used to go to in NYC that had stellar customer service and gave excellent cuts.

Chinh has been taking care of my hair for 16+ years, and I won't let anyone else touch it. He is personable, professional and very skilled! The entire staff at Etheria is discreet, professional and treat me like a member of the family.

I cannot say enough good things about Ana. She's a great stylist and she is the only person in the city that I trust to cut my hair. I highly recommend her to anyone and am grateful to have my hair in her hands!

Great salon super caring people everyone loves what they do and it shows... nice spa water, tea, coffee. Chinh is the ULTIMATE professional and really takes great pride in his work. Vu is exceptional and can do an amazing blow dry!! if you are lucky enough to get him !

I brought my 80yr old Mom in for a day of pampering for Mother's Day and boy was it a big hit. We started with Linda for a mani-pedi and followed up with Ty for some color and a perm. Both were so nice to my Mom and they made her feel SO SPECIAL. The studio and spa is beautiful and this was the best gift ever. Thanks to everyone who made our day so special!

I've been going to Chinh for 25 years. He is extremely professional, personable, and truly cares about his clients. The entire staff remembers you and are incredibly kind. When it comes to your hair, you want to go somewhere that cares what you look like... this is that place!

Giovanni is a very good and talented hair stylist. He is very fast too. I drive 50 min to have the best haircut.

This place is a heavenly oasis located in Montrose. Having only known the Asian foot rubs of China town, this type of spa was totally foreign to me. I felt like a Walmart shopper stepping into a Whole Foods. If getting a massage, remember to get there 10 - 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. The serenity begins by changing into a robe and slippers, available to you in a locker where your belongings will be safely kept. Then they offer you a glass of cucumber mint water. For a second, I seriously contemplated kicking my Sunkist addiction and going straight cuke-mint water for the rest of my life. I asked my masseuse, Roxy, about the difference between the Aromatherapy massage and the Swedish massage. Her response was, "Why don't I just do both?" Right answer. I relaxed for a moment in a dark, intimate waiting room before being led to my private massage table for what was to be one of the best massages I've had. Roxy was very attentive, making sure each detail was just right - from the scents to the lighting and even ensuring that my belongings were properly locked up. We started with a paraffin wax treatment on my hands and she was very gentle not like those friggin' Asian places where they just burn your skin off without apology. Her massage was so good I couldn't believe it. I could have sworn she had 4 arms, continuously moving and getting my knots out. It's like her hands never left my body once. My 50 minutes flew by and soon I was incoherently stumbling back to the front desk. I like that you can leave a tip in a little mail slot instead of having to hand it over to your masseuse/hair dresser/whathaveyou. It reduces the pressure to tip high for mediocre service... but there was nothing mediocre about this massage. The people at Etheria really pampered me, and I hope to come back again soon. You know... once I've won the lottery or struck oil.
