Guests that come for a spa session will be able to warm up in the large salt hot tub and sauna, take a cold plunge in one of our two clawfoot tubs, enjoy an outdoor shower, and cool down on the patio around the fire. It is amazing what a peaceful experience they have created within the city. Huge trees provide wonderful shade as you soak and relax. The chairs and fire were great to sit around between soak and sauna. Everything is clean, the staff is delightful and I highly recommend a visit.
The Everett house is magical. It is such a safe inviting space to explore relaxation and calm. I have gone both during the day and in the evening! Both are equally as magical and serene. They also carry the most delicious coconut water at their little cafe in the back. Compared to other spas in Portland this feels like the most relaxing and reasonably priced.
I've frequented the Spa at Everett House for about a year and a half, and it is such a lovely experience. Just had my first massage there with Zara, and I can't recommend her enough! She's very welcoming, supportive, and willing to apply heavy pressure during massages. I highly recommend booking her if you are extremely tense, sore, and needing deep tissue massage.
The Everett House is such a great place to come, relax, and re-center. A peaceful Spa area surrounded by trees, two different Saunas, and a steam room are just a few of the amenities one can enjoy here! I love coming for an hour to soak and revitalize; I highly recommend!
This was a lovely experience! The staff were awesome, the rules and procedures make good sense, and the place is clean and comfortable. It was my first experience with mixed gender nudity, so I was a little nervous, but all was great.
A relaxing oasis in the city! With steam and dry saunas, a hot tub and cold plunge, there's something for everyone. Can get a bit noisy, but it's very peaceful when it's quiet. Women only hours Sunday 10a-3p.
i went the other day with my partner for valentines day and i am SO glad i found this place. not only is it so beautiful even in winter, it was so peaceful and i found myself feeling refreshed and healed after coming here. i am so incredibly grateful for a place that still takes covid seriously and enforces their vaccine/negative test/mask requirements. it makes it so high risk/disabled individuals like myself can enjoy such a lovely space and feel comfortable knowing there are protections in place. i cannot thank the people here enough for creating a space that is extremely affordable and safe for everyone. i will absolutely be coming here again and if you are a person out here still worried about covid, THIS is the place to go to relax. i’m excited to try out the massages next time! thank you so much for what you do and never change!!!!!
I went on a Sunday which is women's only day and loved the atmosphere. Wonderful variety of spa amenities and in just a half hour I felt years of stress melt away. All for a great price!!
Everett is always and has always been magical. But todays massage with Zara was… genuinely the best massage I’ve ever had and one of the best experiences with a stranger I’ve ever had. As a queer neurodivergent human, I have never so immediately felt so seen and safe as I got to this afternoon. She’s also just a phenomenal lmt and my body is on better ground than it’s been in months. I cannot speak highly enough of this woman and of this place. Do yourself a favor and invest in yourself.
I'm a blue collar manufacturing worker who would be chomping at the bit to give any established massage therapist who would be able to address my multitude of myofascial problems more or less all of my money that isn't already spoken for by rent, but apparently this establishment is more interested in medically discriminating against people while using misinformation as the basis for that discrimination than they are in actually being accessible. I have had deep infiltrating endometriosis and extensive ablation surgery for it. When the COVID-19 vaccines were emergency use authorized, I consulted my surgeon to seek her opinion as to whether or not I should be vaccinated, since I was seeing many stories about menstrual irregularities after vaccination and even had a friend admitted to the hospital overnight during her first cycle post vaccination due to extreme iron deficiency when no other factor in her life's terrain had changed. I was informed by my surgeon that deep infiltrating endometriosis can be re-triggered by a multitude of things, and since I'd both already had covid and had experienced a particularly aggressive and extreme case of deep infiltrating endometriosis that had led to the rupture of several organs in my abdominal cavity from the pressure that the endometriosis placed on them that she was of the firm belief that the risk was simply too high to the potential reward I'd gain from the shot. Since this woman saved my life, I have taken and stuck to her advice. I don't know what the formal medical credentials are of the proprietors of this establishment, but considering the COVID-19 vaccines don't prevent illness/experiencing symptoms of covid or transmission of covid by the frank and plain admission of the companies who developed them, requiring them with the justification of community accessibility and safety is farcical if I'm being generous about it. It's dishonest advertising to call yourselves accessible and focused on community while having a strict policy of discrimination and exclusion against people who have made personal and private healthcare choices which effect literally nobody but themselves, especially when that discrimination is being done with no actual concrete and material reason! I'd understand a policy which banned those with ringworm for the duration of the issue, for example. I'm not saying that the only moral option is to run a laissez-faire petri dish of an establishment. This is astoundingly, flagrantly ableist and dishonest of this establishment and I think it says a lot about how comforting, healing, and community oriented the mindset of the proprietors really are if you look under the surface of nice platitudes, and bothered to write this up in the spirit of looking out for those who are seeking health and wellness services at the price point that Everett operates at. Even if your budget is tight, you deserve to be treated with respect and care. Find an establishment that won't advertise using duplicitous statements, essentially using you as a mark in their grift.
