They changed my plan on me without notice and overcharged me by $300+. Called and they are unwilling to assist nor provide me with a plan that works and doesn’t cost me an extra $300+ per month moving forward. Crooks. Do not get service with them.

Since I got switch over to reliant my bill has been so hi I can barely eat I never in my life had a 500 dollar bill I’m disabled and on a budget I can’t afford itI want my old company back don’t know how I was switched from the beginning

Second time I was with Reliant, never again. They always find a way to overcharge. Be wary!!!!!

I always thought reliant energy were good until the problem happened. I called reliant energy last 2 weeks and asked for cancellation on the service on December 18th since I'm going to move out of the apartment. I've been trying to comfirm with the guy who I talked to on phone several times since he seemed not really focus on the call. ans Yes, he disconnected my service on November 18th. I've been calling and talking with them 3 hours on phone. All they could do is making me wait 3-4 more hours or maybe until the next day. So I think it's okey for the customer wait a few more hours or even overnight without power because of their mistake. I called again and asked if they can call center point and they said they don't have permission to call center point. Yup again they work with center point and theu confirmed with me that NONE of them can call center point. They gave me the number so I called center point myself instead of waiting. I called center point and the lady was very helpful and trying to help me out. This is the last time I'm dealing with reliant. after 3 years being with them, I never missed any payments, but when the problem came. All of their excuses is "that the best we can do". DO NOT RECOMEND!!!!!

I had such a good experience with Reliant several years ago that I wanted to come back as a repeat customer when I moved again However, their enrollment process is the pitts!! I was rented an apartment with several holds on it from the previous tenant. So just be aware and make sure that the apartment unit assigned has no holds on it i.e utilities, internet, etc.. It has made my move-in process very painful. I tried to get my electricity turned on in my name with Reliant and there was a hold on the account for my unit. I called all week and there was never a resolution, so I ended up going with another provider. I had to take time out of my schedule to resolve the problems of the person who lived here previously, all while the apartment complex and the service providers do nothing. I've spent at least 10 hours overall on the phone trying to clear up inherited problems. Buyer beware and do your homework!! Make sure the unit people are selling/renting to you have no holds on essential services.

I don't recommend them really bad customer service and super high prices.

I paid 169 dollars for nothing. I have only 1 bedroom and I live alone.
