Aaron and Andy did a fantastic job leading our group on our kayaking trip! They expertly guided us along the river, showing us excellent thermal hot spring spots and allowing each of us to have fun on our own terms. They were friendly, knowledgeable and fun to be around! This was a great adventure. We spent about seven hours on our tour, kayaking, hiking and resting for lunch. The paddling was more than I expected, but the views were stunning.

I had one of the best experiences I’ve even had when taking any type of tour. Our tour team, Michael and Blade were outstanding! We had never kayaked before and were worried that we would struggle, it was a breeze and we had to paddle with a little wind against us. If we can do it, you can!! Loves the water guns so we could spray each other, great snacks and overall just an awesome day!! Thanks for such an awesome adventure and we will be sure to mention how great Evolution Expeditions is to anyone looking for a water tour!

Best kayaking trip, ever! Pick up was timely, and the ride wasn’t bad. Our guides, Cailyn and Skyler, were awesome!! Other staff members who helped us into our kayaks were also nice. You can feel comfortable touring with this company. The guides were well prepared with snacks and water—so much that we didn’t even need to bring our own though we did. Lunch was also fantastic. Great value and activity to add to your itinerary!

My boyfriend and I had such a great experience with Evolution Expeditions. Missy was our guide and she was awesome! She was very kind, funny and informative. We got very lucky that day because our entire group was great. The company even gave us water guns to shoot and it was a joy to see us grown ups acting like kids again. We finished the express tour this morning. My husband and I had THE BEST time! Our tour guides, Blade and Johnny, were so much fun! They were knowledgeable, sweet, and caring. I will be back! I’m dying to do the 7-hour hot springs tour next. This tour was a bucket list item for sure! I can’t believe I’ve been in Vegas/Henderson since ‘94, when my mom moved us here and today is the first time I’ve done this tour! Thank you, Evolution Expeditions!

This was our third time taking this kayak adventure on the Colorado River below Hoover Dam. Each time, the experience has been different, and more enjoyable than the previous trip. On this trip, we were the only couple to have booked the tour, and we were amazed that Evolution Expeditions honored our reservation, and did not cancel the trip because of low attendance. Aaron and Justin were our guides for the day and they made the day interesting and fun with the information regarding the animal life and the side hikes to hot springs along the way. Even had a playful water fight that made the grind of paddling the last few miles a lot more fun. If one wants to enjoy incredible desert canyon views from a safe flat water kayak experience, this is the way to do it, and this is the outfitter to use. Their equipment is in excellent condition and easy to use for someone who goes kayaking once every 9 years!

This kayak tour of Emerald Cove was amazing. Ryan, our tour guide, was awesome. He was knowledgeable and answered ALL my kids questions. My son's are 11 and 9 and I am glad we got the double kayaks as the wind can be pretty resistant on the way back but nothing adults can't paddle through. The water is cold but refreshing from the hot sun. The views are amazing. We even saw a family of mountain goats coming down to have a drink of water. Highly recommend this company and tour if you are in the area.

Jake and Ryan, our tour guides, gave us our best day in Vegas in three years yet! We come every year with my work for a convention, and this was our first year kayaking. I have never kayaked before, and was extremely nervous. We had to be up early for the drive from Vegas, as it’s about an hour from the strip and back in a canyon. I was tired and hung over from the night before, so I wasn’t really sure how much I was going to enjoy this outing. Honestly, I was strongly considering staying on the bus and sleeping thru it! But man am I glad I didn’t. Not only were Jake and Ryan extremely knowledgeable, they made me feel 100% confident and safe on the water. They supplied plenty of water for us, along with a huge bag of snacks and juice. They showed us the proper way to wear our life vests and helped us get in and out of the kayaks at every stop. They taught us about the plants, the animals, and the history of emerald cove and the Colorado river and the Dam. They were great sports about us getting them wet and dousing them with our paddles and squirt guns as well, though there was definitely pay back so don’t dish out what you can’t handle! They offered to take photos for us and showed us the best spots to take them at as well. There is also safe places on your kayak to keep your phone and small belongings from getting wet. My husband and I had never worked together as well as we did with their instructions and guiding us! We will for sure be back next year, and may be picking up a new hobby at home thanks to them for making it such a fun and pleasurable experience. Thank you guys for such a wonderful day!

Such a fun experience for us and our kids! Kurt and Michael were extremely knowledgeable and fun. So many little details and their efforts made for an extra special day. Learning about local trees, historic spots, fault lines, kayak safety, water guns.... the guides and the goods were all top notch! And the beauty all around us was never-ending. We were all exhausted at the end of the day, and so glad we had chosen the shuttle there& back option! Will definitely use this outfit again!
