Story

We are the only company with extensive experience and expertise in all three types of solar energy systems in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Started by Mark Bortman in 2005 after he worked in Costa Rica for a year with a 30-year veteran of the solar industry, Exact Solar is a local, family-owned business. Initially specializing in solar thermal systems (solar water heating), Exact Solar soon expanded into PV (solar electric) system installation. Exact Solar focuses on installing high quality systems while providing exceptional customer service. Serving Southeastern PA and central NJ, Exact Solar is your one-stop shop for all things solar.

Exact Solar offers free consultations, award winning service and they use only the highest quality components in their installations.
