Excellence in Dentistry

This is the best dental practice that I've ever visited, hands down. The office is clean, well-lit, and comfortable. There is coffee, tea, and water available in the waiting area so that you can have your morning coffee or tea while you wait for your appointment (but wait times are never long). Staff here are very friendly and personable. On my very first visit, I was given a "tour" of the facility. Everyone made me feel comfortable. During my appointment, I met with Dr. Stevens for an oral evaluation, x-rays, and to have a care plan written up. Dr. Stevens and his assistant were incredible. They were both very gentle and kind. Their finance lady, Tammy, was very professional and she explained everything to me and answered any questions that I had regarding costs, insurance, and my care plan. I went back a few weeks later for an extraction (the first order of business on my care plan). Dr. Stevens gave the local anesthetic and I experienced very little discomfort. During the extraction, I experienced no pain and he explained everything that he was doing as he went along. Excellence in Dentistry is not in my insurance network, so I went to an in-network office to compare prices. I ended up returning to Excellence in Dentistry because their level of care is SO much better. I mean, they even offer you a cookie or an apple before you leave!

This practice very graciously made an appointment possible to reattach a crown when I was never seen before at this practice. We moved to Troy in October from Florida and had not yet looked into a dental practice. An emergency did hasten our checking into finding a dentist and we were so pleased with this practice. The office is very relaxing and friendly. I was treated as if I was a valuable, longtime patient. I really like the way they are upfront and confidential with the information that they need to share with the patient. It was a wonderful “find” in Troy.

As always my cleaning and checkup was great. Not my favorite thing to do, but they make it pleasant as possible. Bethany was super and even offered some good advice on an upcoming visit to a zoo. Very helpful. All the staff are!! Thanks. A big 5.0.

Excellence in Dentistry is the most professional dental office I have come across. Very organized, efficient and friendly staff. Dr Stevens and Bethany took great care of me for my dental visit, I can't wait to go back! Kim made checking out a breeze and even gave me a freshly baked cookie to take home! You can't get better care anywhere else! Thank you Excellence in Dentistry!

I felt welcome immediately walking into the office. Christian radio eased my mind as well as the friendly faces at the front desk. Dr. Choi and Dr. Jones were both very helpful and professional. The assistant was very sweet as well. Overall great visit and our family will be back for future dental care. Happy patient!
