My slice of heaven in Boston - the most amazing yoga experience! These yoga teachers Sandy Klemmer, Haley Dawn, Scott Trippy have changed my life. Plus the most relaxing shower, sauna, and hammam experience. I’ve been a member for over a year - coming 5 days a week for yoga classes. Was gatekeeping this place because it’s rarely packed, but can share now that I moved out of Boston. What to expect: 1 all the amenities of a spa towels, robes, slippers, tea, water, clean showers with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion 2 variety of yoga mats jade or manduka that are cleaned and rolled up for you after every use 3 the most kind and thoughtful yoga teachers that incorporate the mindfulness aspect, not just about doing hard poses. You are talked through every move with variations for beginners to advanced.
The place is very nice and clean. If you are looking for an awesome workout join Exhale and go to Cheryl’s barre classes. They are the best!! You will leave the gym feeling great! She teaches with passion and has been by far the beat barre teacher I have ever had.
Basic spa services for luxury spa prices. I had a 90 minute massage that cost $275 $330 with 20% tip that added automatically at check out. The massage therapist was very nice and personable and gave a good massage, however, it was very no frills. There was no calming start or ending, no customization of lotion or oil, no warm props used during the massage, not even anything covering your eyes when you’re face up. It felt just like what you’d expect from a massage envy or similar volume based spa. Their locker rooms are also bare bones just body wash and lotion are provided. It’s not bad it just isn’t what you’d expect for the prices they charge.
I have been a member here for years, but since 2021 this place has lost all customer service skills. I continue to come to see one woman for facials, but otherwise, I would not recommend this place. They have new completely ridiculous rules, and booking/front desk staff that is so under trained they cannot manage their needs. Today I was told that I couldn't reschedule my same day appointment for another time on the EXACT SAME DAY without a charge or manager approval. Most of the people who work here work somewhere else as well - visit them there. That will likely be my plan go forward. Have literally never left a Google review for any other company but I'm delayed in writing this review to be honest.
I had the most relaxing, luxurious experience recently at Exhale Spa at Battery Wharf. I loved the warmth of the Hammam Room, and my massage and facial was one of the best I ve received. I love the spa robes, and welcoming treatment rooms. The staff was welcoming and delightful. I highly recommend booking a visit if you are in need of a stress relieving day. It’s in the most beautiful spot in Boston too.
Exhale Battery Wharf is my favorite escape in Boston. The staff is warm, welcoming, and accommodating. Nina keeps my skin glowing every month! Recommend to all my friends.
My experience was mixed. This was my first time at Exhale. I took the day off to enjoy some me time. Customer service at the front desk was great and very helpful. I received a 30min massage and what was supposed to be a spa pedicure. My massage was nice and the lady was sweet and personable. However, my pedicure experience could’ve been so much better. I felt like it was rushed and it did not look like what I paid for. I may come back for the massage and amenities but I think I’m all set with the nail services at Exhale.
My favorite place to workout and relax after. You can find any type of classes that suit you. From relaxing to sweat drenching. Not to mention great changing room with all the little nick necks.
The massage itself was fantastic! however the last thing i want when I’m paying a premium for a spa day is to to feel like I’m being upsold consistently. From the second I walked into the massage room, I was asked what oil I wanted to use CBD or aroma therapy and no mention of a cost difference between the 2. I asked which one is better, which is when I found out about the $45 upgrade fee for the CBD. Then upon leaving an amazing massage, the front desk asking me if i want some type of package. Everyone was nice, it just wasn’t what I was expecting — I expect that experience at a place like Massage Envy. I know it’s a business but just felt very strange to do in person, send me an email or something vs messing with my zen in the moment. In the end i wanted to try some place new but moving forward I’ll probably just continue to splurge at the Mandarin spa.
When I lived in Boston, I came here regularly for invigorating classes & relaxing spa treatments Even after moving to the West Coast, I make a point to stop here for a quick workout & refresh in the LUXURIOUS locker room when I travel. The staff, the space, the classes, & the spa offerings are truly incomparable!
