Exotic Thai

I've eaten at the other location on John Deere Road several times so wanted to try this location. I went with an old favorite (green papaya salad) which was served with fried shrimp and marked as spicy. To my taste, it was not that spicy, but still delicious (if you like spice, I highly recommend the Lemongrass Cafe across the river). I did ask for hot sauce and added quite a bit to get the desired burn.

It has really good food and nice service. Also some of the best Thai iced coffee around. However they often spicier than I expected but it wasn't spicy for the sake of spicy. Overall I come whenever I am in the area

If you want authentic Thai food, this is the place to go! My husband and I have only been there twice but we’ve been very impressed both times. Even though we don’t understand the menu very well the staff is so helpful and we have been delighted with their suggestions. You can choose how spicy you want your food. We’re from out of town but will definitely be back the next time we come through!

I am fixing a previous review in which I was unhappy with the level of spice. As I did last time, I insisted on Thai spicy and promised not to complain if it was too spicy. This time they came through 100%. Well done. It is very hard to get asian restaurants to make my food spicy, but this one makes it very spicy and tasty at the same time, if you insist on food that is Thai spicy, they will give it to you. However, you MUST insist. It was not so spicy that I could not eat the food, but it was spicy enough that my sinuses are clear and my tears are currently drying.

Food was delicious! Little bit on the pricier side, but still reasonable. The provincial anf exotic dishes are awesome.
