You need to get rid of Oceana. Every time I go in this store and she is working she is drama!!! The last two times she was crying uncontrollably on the sales floor about family issues. The times prior she would barely help me. She is always more interested in what’s going on outside of the store in the mall. I have even seen her be extremely disrespectful to her coworkers and other customers. This store has been improved greatly by the new store manager. Without Oceana it would be so much better to shop and have a great time.
The so called manager at the Towne East store in Wichita, Kansas had horrible customer service manners. I am not coming back, ever.
I have to say Express is one of my favorite store to shop. I felt terribly disappointed and being so disrespected by two employees today. Not just one employee but two. They’re so rude and unprofessional. They never apologized for their own mistakes. I went in for a return today. The guy who helped me was so rude and lazy. He seem irritated and very short to me. I expected to get 2 items returned but only 1 got approved. I got confused and asked him the reason why the other one got rejected. The guy told me the he don’t know and there’s nothing that he could do for me or at least gave me a reasonable explanation. I know for fact that the items being returned are not FINAL SALES and still within the 60 days mark. After that he’s not willing to assist me anymore, so I stand and wait, hoping to get a helpful/nice associate. Meanwhile, he never once asked me if I need any further assistance. Nope, just let me being. Stand waiting to be assist I finally got helped by a female employee but she also seem irritated with me. She came to a quick conclusion that the item was not found in the system. I told her that’s impossible because its clearly showed on the receipt the exact item number and descriptions. She then looked closer into the situation and finally figured out the mistake that the other guy did. The entire time she helped me she wasn’t happy with me at all, even-though it wasn’t my fault. It seems like I’m a burden to them. I felt humiliated. I don’t know after this incident I would walk into the store the same way again or will I felt welcome anymore. I came on 12/26/21 around 5:45pm.

The guy in his goofy gray beanie was just wandering the store not doing anything, asking if we need help? Like, duh we need help! Then he said the fitting room was closed until cleaned. Well, um, why aren't you cleaning it? So fine, can we get the size 0 off the mannequin? "Oh we're not doing that today because we're busy". I wanted to sock this dude SO BAD! When I come in to spend a grand on jeans for my wife, it's unacceptable! Won't be back, will just go to The Buckle.
I feel like this place is just going down on the service. FOR a whole year I changed my whole wardrobe and style. The first time I came into this place I got really close and acquainted with the store manager and some of the sales associates. I told them look I am not here to buy a shirt or some work pants. MY ONE goal is to purchase outfits. Top with bottoms bottoms with tops. I spent alot of money and I love their deals and promos. Since the covid hit alot of their stores started to get less of some of their items. I am a xs, it is an issues has to finding stuff I like in my size. ALWAYS been this way. But I do like their products. SO I went back to the store to return more so exchange I had purchase a sweater and my sibling purchased the same one as a Christmas gift. Because I did not have the receipt they couldn't do much for me. THIS PART IS WHAT GOT ME. I used to be a manager and so I know this slick move. The store manager whom used to help me prior before tells the lady something to ear piece and walks by as if she does not see that the customer is literally in front of you. LIKE THAT IS UNPROFFESSIONAL. I spent alot of my time and money because I really like express. BUT for you to do that to me and not even look at my face. If I was in her shoes, step aside be like ma'am I apologize for the inconvenience on not having your size available in stock here are your other options. NOPE NO OTHER OPTIONS. The whole walking pass me to ignore me is what had me loss respect for that store in particular. Like you guys are not cashier clerks and contractor labor. When you are hired into the clothing store. Like buckle they add more to your shopping than what you walked in for. They get paid at telling you this would look good with this and these necklaces. I don't see you guys as a mcdonald clerk you shouldnt treat me as a mcdonald customer
I went in to return an online order. Landon did his best to help. The amount was off so I questioned it. No problem. He went and grabbed his leadership. She came and said we can't do anything about the difference. Instead of telling me what she could do she started of with what she couldn't do. I immediately said "okay, well let's figure it out". She got offended and said I was being rude. Im not being rude because I'm asking about a refund that clearly owed. This was not customer service at all. I asked for her name. She refused. I asked for corporate. She refused. Please stop promoting people in positions that can not handle face to face interactions with customers. Unfortunately some customers have RB.
They ripped the pants I bought and didnt let me have my money back. Also left the anti theft clip on.
This is always a good place to shop for my business attire. I love the feeling of being professional. Clean store with a cheerful helpful and knowledgeable staff. Prices aren't out of this world either. I stop in to check out the latest fashion.
Shirt bought had stain on it. Both employees were very polite and helpful. Sales clerk "AP" went above and beyond to help me even though it was near closing time. I appreciate their customer service
