Express Poultry & Fish

My mom placed an order and they asked for a name and number, which was given. When I went to pick it up they asked for the order, I told them the name and number, and I even told them that it was a tray of chicken and fries. They kept asking for the same information I was giving them and it seemed like the order wasn’t ready so they were stalling. So I told them if you don’t have the order written down it means it’s not ready so I will just leave, and when I left they called and told me that they “FOUND” my order and it was ready and this was AFTER I LEFT. I did end up going back so the food wouldn’t be wasted, but I would have appreciated it if he just told me that the order wasn’t ready and it needed a little more time. So if you’re looking for a place that can get your order ready in time this place is probably not for you.

I would give -5 if I could!!!! We ordered 2 fish to be grilled. He weighed both in front of me and charged me $100. I pick up the fish 2 hours later to take with me to a friends gathering lunch and I was shocked to see the fish that I picked up were much smaller than the ones he weighed prior to grilling. The $100 I paid was supposed to include tartar sauce, fries, bread etc… The owner did put the fries box on top of my fish tray to grab all together then the cashier grabbed my fries and gave them to another customer and said they weren’t mine while I was paying. Later that day I called the store I complained and the owner apologized and claimed the cashier needed to be more focused as the fries were mine. He said he “will make it up to me next time” but there wont be a next time as I happened to go to their store since I was in the Dearborn area shopping when I reside out of state of Michigan. At this point I want my money back and never go there again! Beware and make sure the item you choose prior to them prepping and grilling, is the same item you paid for based on weight. Such a scam!

We can’t say enough about the amazing quality of food and tasty. The blend of unique flavors and the amount of different options is just pleasantly surprising and so unbelievably good, that we drive out of our way just for the experience, and completely satisfied! Wide variety of chicken cuts, marinated with variety of spices. Also found whole chickens organic it appears. Large variety of fish that can be cleaned and sold either cooked to your liking or raw. Nice middle eastern spice racks and some fresh spices.

I usually don’t leave reviews but this place is off the charts. They have fresh halal options that are amazing. I always look forward to coming here for my lunch break and I try to go down the menu, so far everything is beyond my expectations. Dietary restrictions: Halal

I hate when foodies overhype and make things seem better than they actually are. The express chicken sandwich is very dry and tbh it was a waste of calories I should’ve drank a protein shake. You feel sick after eating.

Hands down best chicken sandwiches and freshest fish in town. I come here atleast 3 times a week to carry out. Excellent customer service and the owner makes you feel like family. Love this place & highly recommend. Can't wait for the new place to open in dearborn heights!!

This market offers some of the best high quality Amish chicken in town.All of their poultry products are Antibiotic free , vegetable fed and hormone free . If you are looking for a wide selection of seafood this place is the way to go
