Extra Supermarket

I am not a frequent customer here, but I did have a pleasant shopping experience. I only went in to pick up some Lima beans and noticed the variety they had. I also found a brand that is new to me: Jack Rabbit. I ended up getting many bags of beans to store some up for the soups and meatless meals I plan to prepare in the colder months. An added bonus was that this "new-to-me brand" is also non gmo, which is a BONUS in my book. Having non GMO foods mean so much to me. I do plan to to return to stock up on my beans and lentils. The reason for the 4 stars is that I did notice that some of their prices for other things were a bit inflated. Other than that, no complaints here. Thanks Extra Supermarket!!!!!

I use to shop here often for all of my grocery needs but that shifted after I had a bad experience with steak I had purchased. I don't know if the beef was old or what but it spoiled in my fridge over night which has never happened to any meat I'm about to cook. It could have been a fluke but it happened to 2 packs of beef which weirded me out. Everything else is pretty good here. I stopped purchasing bacon from them because the bacon fridge is always luke warm instead of cold. It's probably broken. Otherwise, they do have a nice variety of goods. The store seems to have improved greatly in these past months. Better options are available than before. Noticed they even started carrying whole bakery cakes which was nice to see. They're only really missing a fresh deli section. But otherwise it's an overall decent supermarket with all the essentials you may be looking for.

Deceptively priced items. You'll see a price on the shelf or on the item, but it'll scan at something higher. They always mismark their items.

Sooo I went there on Wednesday and I wanted just the chicken broth. No chicken no noodles or veggies and I was told it would coat $3.75 where a chicken noodle with the chicken veggies and noodles cost $3.50. Not sure if they understand the assignment because that makes absolutely no sense to me and they were not budging. I would have paid $3.00 for it and I think that's too much but more for broth than with everything in it is ridiculous . Get a grip!!!!

Open 7 days a week. Lots of parking spaces. Very reasonable products at decent prices. Has Amazon locker as well where you can pickup items you purchased from Amazon.

I shop here often because I find exotic and ethnic foods that are not typically highlighted in regular supermarkets. That being said, regular market items are much more expensive. So I would not buy detergent here but if you're looking for yuca, plantains,coyote, oxtail, goat or any unusual food from your country,I would check here.

Overpriced, stinky, stale meats. Bad attitude, bad tall, lanky security man in shades with attitude. Cashiers on their own "minimum wage attitude". No offense, but the Haitians - WORSE. All disappeared after the mass deportation, which questions extra's hiring practices if you no what i mean. Go to City where it's not as bad, or stopNshop/shoprite who knows how to run business. That's my 2 cents as an over a decade customer...but NOT in 2022.

I was pleasantly surprised. Keep up the work. I haven't been to that supermarket for a few years, and I pleased of the supermarket.

Hot food during the day. They pack up leftovers put them on counter. Great price for quality food. I usually just go there for Amazon package pickup but always check what's on the menu when i come thru
