Awesome authentic portugese food and atmosphere.
Great authentic Portuguese food, unlike the Portugalia Mexican food.
Food is mediocre at best. Good ingredients, but poor execution. Tastes like home cooking, if your parents liked everything overcooked. Service isn't great; slow and mess up orders often. Drinks are cheap and ambience is nice and casual. Great place for families and a low key night out with friends. Go to muqueca or portugalia if you want good food, though
Very nice place for a small wedding
If i could give this place 0 stars I would definitely do so. I went yesterday night at 8:30pm with a group of friends and I've had the most horrible service ever. First, we waited 1 whole hour before the waitress say hello to our table. We began ordering our food at 10pm. After that, they told us that they were out of our entrees which was the "Polvo Na Braza" then we order something else, with seafood and they told us that they were out of seafood, then we order some other entrees. The entrees came at 12AM!! They came with our entrees plus the seafood and "Polvo" that they said they were out of it. But of course, it was not free they wanted to charge our entrees and the other entrees they bring us when they said they were out of it at 10pm. Also, when we were there waiting the whole night, we went to the bar that is in the other side of the place and we waited there for over 30 minutes to get just some simple beers. Plus, the bartender kept us waiting and decided to serve other guests who came after us, but apparently they were friends and were speaking Portuguese like the employees so i guess they were priority and we were not even though we were there first and we are still clients who are paying for a service. If you are not Portuguese prepare to wait forever and to have the worst and most abominable service ever with just very average food for the payoff. Definitely a terrible experience. Stay away!
Outstanding food and incredible prices. Worth going to Friday's diners...it is the only day open for diner. Absolutely LOVE it. Atmosphere is very casual.
Cozy family-owned business, great for a Friday night with friends. Portuguese food, friendly vibe
Failanse is a well-kept secret. It's s a member's only Portuguese cultural club, but every Friday night serves delicious and authentic Portuguese food to the public in a packed rec hall. The food is cheap and the wine even cheaper. Go on the earlier end before it gets too crowded -- service can get pretty slow later in the night.
Same menu every time. Cheap Portuguese eats fresh fish in a 1960s style place. Eating here is like going back in time to an European after work social club. Try the grilled octopus.
Great place, great food and great prices!
